Turds of misery ?

Doesn't that sum up the last 10 years of Snoory's career ?

Yep, that's a good summation.

Juan

Listening to the stream, Art doing Ghost to Ghost from 2001, and Dean from Tampa called in.  He also used to call from Louisiana or Texas.  He'd call Barbara Simpson every time she was on, and Art frequently.  I haven't heard him call sNoory in years and years.

sorry about that, chief.

GET SMART - Episode 1 - Mr. Big (1965 TV Show) part 1 of 3

This is on the wall slightly to the right and above my Imac. It's part of my 60's spy collection including autographed pictures of Robert Vaughn and David McCallum which are on the opposite wall.

Last night I was listening to some wicken lady speak. She started talking about people sacrificing babies and drinking their blood.

Not good to listen to right before bed.

I've grown to become increasingly annoyed with Richard Hoagland. By the town of his voice, I think Art also grew annoyed with him.

We've got a bus load of shows that haven't been played from 2001-2010 going into the stream next week.

Good to hear! I stopped listening to Noory over a year ago. I decided that life is to short to listen to an idiot. I enjoy Fineart nightly now.

Listening to the 01-29-10 show with Michio Kaku right now. One of my favorite shows of all time!

linden2k thank you so much for Fine Art. I listen daily through the TuneIn Radio app and can't wait for the "bus load" of "new" shows on the stream.

I love the way Art handles JC. Some of my favorite moments are in those shows.

I just found this listing on Ebay. Cassettes of Ghost to Ghost. I don't remember Art selling these but ...

check it out.

I remember in the mid 90s when Art Bell would mention you could buy a tape set of a particular classic c2cam show.
That was before the internet streaming of the show that came late in the 90s.
You can hear Art mention the tapes you could buy on many of the older classic replays of Somewhere in Time.

Not to try to compete with the great Fine Art station but I found this by accident and am listening to Art on it.

http://www.u7radio.org/

http://radio.about.com/od/createinternetradio/a/How-to-Create-Your-Own-Internet-Radio-Station_3.htm

Right now Art has someone named Starfire Tour on. He just had Whitley on before her. I've been listening to her and she's talking about a former Circuit City building that supposedly disappeared in front of her. I'm not impressed by her. Back to either Fine Art or the stuff I have in Itunes.

By the by, I ride my bicycle a lot and am looking for a good radio that I can carry on my bike so I can listen to baseball and football and maybe find a way to mount it on my handlebars.

Does anyone make a portable satellite radio that one could take with you ?

Then I could listen to Art anywhere I go.

I just found one. It's kind of pricey but ...

;D

As an aside, there's this company that is going to come out with a vehicle that you can pedal AND that will have a battery in it so you can go up hills & it will have enough room in it to carry groceries and the like. $ 4,000 for the regular version, $ 5,000 for the delivery version. They're going to ride like a normal bicycle and you wouldn't get rained on !

http://www.organictransit.com/models.html

If I ever got the delivery model, I'd be temped to have someone put Art's picture on it because I couldn't resist having it say " Wanna take a ride ? "

No two seat model as far as I can see.

I see people driving those golf cart looking things that Chrysler used to sell for $ 8k around here all the time. The city still uses them around town.

Where I live there are lots of hills ( just like San Francisco 30 miles away ) and it would be great to NOT have to keep getting off my bike and push it up the hill to go somewhere. My bad knee won't let me pedal even though my Canondale is capable of it.

It's only flat here for a maximum of 3-4 miles in one direction, 5-6 blocks in another. All the big stores ( Lucky, Walmart, Home Depot, Payless, etc. ) are all on hills ). Once I decided to ride to the other Safeway which is 7 miles from here and pushed my bike up the hill there and back after I got groceries. It took me about 3 hours.

I don't have a license right now because some dweeb clerk at the DMV overheard me telling my gf one day while we were waiting that I had sciatic pain in my leg " so bad I thought I was having a f*ing stroke " and she took it upon herself to tell the DMV that I had HAD a stroke and they suspended my license until I PROVE I didn't have a stroke & their medical department wouldn't listen to me when I told them I've never had a stroke. I complained to the manager of that office but it didn't do a damned bit of good. My doctor is supposed to write me a letter of proof that I didn't have one, but it seems to take doctor's forever to do stuff like that so I'm still waiting.

I even went to my state senator to complain about it in writing. The idiots in the medical office in Oakland won't budge.

How does one prove a negative when it didn't happen and idiotic bureaucrats won't listen nor change their decision,  when they've made a major mistake ?

Yep, there's some sort of issue. We're trying to figure out what's going on. First, u7 was listed, but the current track and links all pointed to Fine Art. Now it seems we're not listed at all and it's just u7. Not sure what can be done about it, but we're working with our support. Most likely it's shoutcast's problem.

I found shoutcast and that's how I found about u7. They do list both u7 and Fine Art.

I'm even less impressed about the guest that Art had in the current broadcast. She keeps whining how the whole planet is at war, one with someone else all the time. And then said it's a mystery why the Mayan's abandoned their cities.

Probably because their water sources dried up or climate change.

Hello ?

Where Art found this one I don't know but I give her a big BONK !!!!

I'm pretty sure I heard one of the Fine Art Streams bumper thingeys (the tags in between shows) played on U7 once. He must just be ripping shows off your stream and playing them on his own. Not cool.

linden2k

Yep. That guy's a douche. Last time his stream went down he just relayed ours and then asks his listeners for literally hundreds of dollars a month to  keep shit afloat.  A few of our promos call him a douche now, so those will be fun to hear on his stream.

Well, I just got in the mail to of the old AB Coast To Coast newsletters which I bought on Rbay. In the one with his picture on the cover there's an interview with Art and Art says when he comes back ( this in 2001 ) he's going to do something because there were two many ads on the show and he felt it smothered the show.

There's an ad on the back for those Art Bell tapes ( I always wondered why they weren't also on cd ). There were 39 tapes available.

The tapes back then cost $ 27.50 each ( eek ! ) and there were NO AB shows listed though there were 5 with Whitley.

In the May 2001 issue the ad had 18 AB broadcasts available all from March and April 2001. 31 tapes available.

At 4 hours a tape that's 280 hours. I guess you could fit them all on an Ipad touch today.

For someone to have bought all of those back then they must have been rich or really devoted to the show.

Art covered NASA's UFO's, chemtrails, witchcraft, the Kaballah, LMH, utility deregulation, did we go to the moon ( one issue of the newsletter analyses it in depth ), 911, HAARP, OBE, hackers.

Now instead of chemtrails we get clowntrails of Carnispoora.

Right now, the FA stream is about the rocket guy who wanted to launch himself into space. In looking it up on Google, I can't find any indication that he ever did it.

Anyone know anything about it ? The latest stories I've seen are all from 2006.

On the stream running right now Art's talking about the rise in gas prices.

I guess some things never change.

I was amused to find this when I went to Fine Art today.

Our stream will be moving to a different host, so those of you who are listening from the website (www.fineartstream.com) may notice the stream stopping for a few minutes. For those of you using other methods, tunein should reflect the new location and here's info for the other media players: Winamp: http://cent7.directhostingcenter.com/tunein.php/zookrhtd/playlist.plsWindows Media Player:http://cent7.directhostingcenter.com/tunein.php/zookrhtd/playlist.asxReal Player: http://cent7.directhostingcenter.com/tunein.php/zookrhtd/playlist.ramQuickTime: http://cent7.directhostingcenter.com/tunein.php/zookrhtd/playlist.qtl

The player at fineartstream.com will be redirected some time this evening, but in the mean time we've got both streams running and the new one will be playing only shows from the 90s for the next 30 days. :D

Yikes! I can't get anything to play on the www.fineartstream.com website player!

I'm seriously missing my daily dose of Art! I got spoiled!

I can only hope the outage is temporary.

Mine isn't working either.

I cleared the cache and the player lists the current show, but the 'Play' button doesn't respond.

I'm using FireFox.  Any ideas?

It wouldn't work for me either with Firefox. You might need a different player. I downloaded Winamp. http://www.winamp.com/media-player/en
