Things That Annoy You

Started by onan, May 22, 2011, 01:41:35 AM

Bless you, Maureen -- you made me look up the word fortean.  I've heard it before but could not define it in my head.  I LOVE learning new words.   Now, had you said fourteen, I'd have got it.  ;D

I'm somewhat annoyed but equally wondering why history of human survival/integration as top predator as species on earth isn't more a topic here. Maybe it has and I haven't found thread yet (politics topic?).

Although my attention and investigations/discoveries began in 1997 based on entirely different circumstances regarding why something was decided by a US Judge to be so blatantly anti-Constitutional and put on public record, very recently in this forum (don't remember which thread) there was a link that made much plainly obvious about what I only suspected.

Israel did 9/11 - Dr. Alan Sabrosky - U.S Army War College

Not something designed to start civil or international war to me, but something that tied together many things more recent in relation to the developments of Egyptians, Sumerians, Moses and subsequent development of the "chosen ones" by war, Babylonians, Greeks, Romans, BC to AD, the Dark Ages, America, WW1, WW2, and nuclear power.

After all, history is defined by the victors. The present defines which talents are most valuable. The future depends on humans protecting Earth collectively from an extraterrestrial event which caused the dinosaur extinction. My contention is that individual IQ numbers are a fraud worthless to life surviving promoted by the pseudo-science of psychology based on selfish greed leadership.

Recumbentibus.

Use it in forum arguments.  It's like a self-contained Godwin's Law -- stops the conversation cold.

Did you invent that word?

What dictionary do you use as your Standard?

I own many scientific Standards that don't change much in current international digital numbers. Words however are another tool used to change reality.

It's complicated, but I think it has something to do with nobody giving two fucks about it.

If you think THAT'S bad, wait until you run into altruistic greed leadership.  That's when things really get messy.

He won't; It isn't part of the framework in which he resides.

No. I receive no money from this forum. I wrote here because it is in honor of a young female that has a talented Dad and a wise Mom. It's a Commandment claimed by Popes that endured so little till today it requires a "Popemobile" to travel streets.

I used to be an Altar Boy in the Latin days before I pulled a Tom Sawyer/Huck Finn prank in 7'th grade and immediately excommunicated.

Yahoo annoys me. It somehow occasionally changes my default search to its engine. All they have done is assure I will never use their services.

I think he's coming on to me in a rather elliptical way.  Or it could be a spellcheck fail.  More data required.

They annoy me too, for breaking their friggin Yahoo mail so unbelievably bad.  It used to be so simple and reliable and now it's just truly bad I can barely use it, but gmail is broken too now so I don't even know where to go.

Well, you're just a squirrel lookin' for a nut anyway, Zeebo... 😉

Yahoo sucks ass.  It amazes me that they continue to push their clunkified 1998 design ethos onto anyone who happens to use the internet.  Mail, messenger, search, that shitty toolbar... Why do they still exist?

A plotted ellipse, drawn using set squares, a set of compasses and a T square, is a thing of beauty...as too is a parabola; and the loci of a ball falling down stairs... Sorry, I've gone off track.

Note to the Irish: your undeniably pleasant accent and global cheery-cheeky-chappy status do NOT make your use of the word 'cunt' to my colleague any less offensive/threatening. Particularly when it's immediately obvious on meeting him that he's handicapped.

Me: sir, you're clearly drunk and being abusive. By law I'm not allowed to sell you alcohol.
Him: how dare you, I'm not drunk!
Me (in my head): you mean you're a dickhead all the time?
