If you had made some sort of supportive statement about someone's drinking I probably would have just moved on. But it seemed to me you were tossing the term depression around because it fit your world view.

Telling someone they are depressed does little to help them feel better. I somehow get the feeling that was your purpose. I may be wrong about that.

Pate remember:  Beer before liquor, never sicker.  Lay off the JB for now.  Also, as you said Corona sucks so lay off that too.  Don't know why it's so popular.  But I drink Fosters made in Texas, so who am I to judge?

Funny, while that's mostly the case, it's always been the opposite for me.  Beer tends to make me sloppy drunk, but if I switch to liquor, it restores my equilibrium and usually feel okay in the morning.  If I have a couple beers after drinking liquor, the room starts spinning and I usually have a hellish hangover. 

I also spend the occasional holiday getting drunk alone with my cat, but she gets ripped out of her skull on catnip, so I don't feel completely ashamed about it.

  Coming back to the thread, after posting the true documents of my ordeal, wondering what anyone who might have read them would say about the content... I saw:

   The good Dr. has not seen fit to reply. I would not say "I destroyed him" however I would say he seems to have no reply. Considering his knee-jerk incorrect assumptions made in interacting with me, and then commenting on what he had no direct knowledge of, I'm not surprised he hasn't apologized.
