Speaking of ads, how about radio ads that have sirens in them.  Hate that when I'm driving.

Or songs. Scares the beezeesus out of me.

I failed too. I promised myself I would avoid it after the cease and desist but it's like driving slowly past a car accident; you can't not look.

Anyway I've weened myself down to only checking it a couple times a day. I think I only posted in it once yesterday.

Hopefully today will be a post free day and I promise to only check it once in the morning and once at night.

Is there some kind of AA meeting equivalent? Can someone please sponsor me and check in with me.

Wait a minute. We've had some positive news. Sort of.

People that sit in parked cars for more than 5 minutes. I go out to my car on my lunch break and there are people just spending their entire lunch breaks sitting in their cars. Playing on phones, sleeping, eating, watching TV. I went to the library to return some books-same thing, people just hanging out in their cars in a library parking lot.

Tornadoes.  In particular, the nasty EF4 that hit Washington, IL a couple days ago, less than 10 miles from where I grew up.  Particularly gut-wrenching are the Facebook posts about the suddenly homeless and missing pets.

On that note, why does there not seem to be just an oatmeal cookie?  Why must it always be oatmeal-raisin?  I like oatmeal, and I like raisins well enough, but why must I always be forced to eat them together in cookie form?
