I had all intentions of calling in last night. That being said, I tried listening to the first hour and not only did it suck all levels of ass, it was one of the most non informative C2C shows ever. It ranked right up there with the gun guy they had on Monday night.

Ended up going to bed around 2.15a so I missed the rest of the show. From reading this thread it doesn't look like I missed much!

There were virtually NO callers so Noory had to let a mentally ill man babble about his delusions on...and on...and on... I kid you not, "The spiders were all wearing harnesses, like reindeer and then the Holy Angel (holy because she had holes for eyes) turned into Santa Claus."

Yes, I did snap fully awake at that one, thinking immediately, OMG--it's a parody! A Gabber got through!

But no, it was just some pathetic guy out there in Nevada (see Osagi- I took your advice and I am laying off Appalacia) baying at the moon. THAT guy he let ramble, but the encyclopedia reader he cut off mid-sentence for UFO Phil.

You would think when there's no one calling into the show the staff would take that as a sign that Noron does in fact suck. But they not and the modern version of C2C continues to bring new lows to late night radio.

The final insult was, as others have said, when he cut off Georgio Wildhair's actual articulate information for UFO Phil's weekly caterwauling. I think George is still slipping, however difficult that may seem.

I was disappointed none of our ranks made it through the screeners. It should have been an easy night to infiltrate the show since the competition were all fresh from some kind of institution.

Clearly there's a mole inside the walls of the gab. We need to start communicating by pm to set up calls.

On the other hand, I used some speech software back when I played WoW... I mean, uh, I had a friend who used to play WoW and used live chat software like Ventrillo and Mumble. Maybe we could use these for real time speech to communicate during the show? I'm not up on how to set them up but I'm sure someone here *ahem* maybe knows someone who used to play WoW - LIKE MY FRIEND - and would have an idea.
