I miss big cars. Sure we have trucks etc but still, something about a trunk as big as some of the cars we see around now and with gas cheap again been looking at some CL's and auto traders.
ps: seen him a few times and still on the fence, really fun but never gotten into listening to albums but live he is fun. He opened for Motorhead a few years ago at Stubb's. ROCK AND FUCKING ROLL!

trostol

The factory AM radio sold me!! I know many buy the 'look alikes' so you can still get your mp3, FM, and modern functions with the old school dual-knobby look but an actual factory AM!? Sweet. (Car is awesome also.)

ps: I'm sure they have figured out a work-around but I always wonder what the Mob does these days without access to large trunks in which to throw bodies, kidnap people, intimidate welshers, etc?

My dad used to drives us around in this in the mid to late 70s. Sometimes I still indulge my id in fantasies of getting one but the more rational side of me says it's time to go lectric. I know, he's no fun.  :P

What I find hilarious is that, aside from collectors, the only people who are still driving large, unweidy, gas-guzzling cars are usually old people who, even if they can see under the steering-wheel to drive, are, at this point, the only person in the car and no need to have, or worse buy new, the largest sedan model available. Seeing them do a 23-point-turn to get out of a parking space at the grocery-store/pharmacy or, even better, just barrel around without a concern for other drivers and pedestrians, is hilarious. (To their credit they still think bigger means safer and it is true that parking spaces have gotten smaller.)

That's why you have a cheap fuel friendly honda/toyota for daily driving and keep the gas guzzler for fun on the weekends.
