On a serious note, have you heard anything legit about the supposed change in Sharia law that's supposedly due next month?

So florid, well-fed, glabrous ranting gentlemen with dubious combovers are the new thing.  I never saw it coming.

What will the icons of this revolution be?  France had the liberty cap on a pole, Russia the hammer and sickle.   I propose the corn dog and universal remote, surmounted by an ill-fitting trucker hat.

Ha, beat me to it. Boris is classic.
On this account Cameron's hairdresser given an MBE for helping him cover up his bald-spot by switching his part. Apparently this is a true story?  :o

Hahaha why is it that the image of all of them dressed up as wailing baby new years is so compelling in a way that, say, Obama is not?  There's something going on deep within the collective psyche.

Michigan has finally been certified as a Trump win bringing his total electoral votes to 306.

On other fronts, GA finally got rain today and last night for the first time since August.   Expecting more tomorrow.  Hallelujah, now the fires plaguing our part of the country should subside.

Glad to hear about the precip, 21st.  Michigan?  They can't pick coaches and they're slow to accept reality.

Glad y'all will be getting some rain. Those fires are crazy. We have them down here also sometimes. People don't appreciate how quickly a wildfire can go. I really worry, as we have seen in some cases in the past and around the world, about crazies, terrorists, malcontents, or illegals purposely setting fires as a way to attack our country and economy. I hope this does not occur but we also need to keep an eye out for suspicious activity and increase the civil and criminal penalties for arson.

Typical Atlantean - thinks the whole state is Atlanta.  My part of the state has had two tropical storms and a hurricane since September 1.

From drought and fires, to rain, to snow.

Thanks, albrecht. I can't recall us ever having the wildfire problems that we had this year.  I've lived, off and on, in the North Georgia area since the late 70's too.

Normally I stand for land-owners but in this case I say let the pipeline happen because it is out of towners who are the ones behind the protests. As an aside anyone who willingly is camping out in some makeshift protest in N.Dakota come winter is either insane or Soros or someone is really, really paying some serious $$. It gets frigging cold there. But there is also an odd beauty on the frozen prairie seeing for miles without any structures and the people are friendly and demographics good. But coooold. I was there once and it was -17F no before wind-chill (and it can be windy) and folks were like, shrug.

"Only about 8% of those arrested come from North Dakota, with nearly a quarter coming from the West Coast, according to arrest figures from Morton County."
