There must be something quite interesting for all this forum spam to have spread itself all over this thread for page after page of these clueless shills to have been called in.

QuoteTechnique #1 - 'FORUM SLIDING'

If a very sensitive posting of a critical nature has been posted on a forum - it can be quickly removed from public view by 'forum sliding.' In this technique a number of unrelated posts are quietly prepositioned on the forum and allowed to 'age.' Each of these misdirectional forum postings can then be called upon at will to trigger a 'forum slide.' The second requirement is that several fake accounts exist, which can be called upon, to ensure that this technique is not exposed to the public. To trigger a 'forum slide' and 'flush' the critical post out of public view it is simply a matter of logging into each account both real and fake and then 'replying' to prepositined postings with a simple 1 or 2 line comment. This brings the unrelated postings to the top of the forum list, and the critical posting 'slides' down the front page, and quickly out of public view. Although it is difficult or impossible to censor the posting it is now lost in a sea of unrelated and unuseful postings. By this means it becomes effective to keep the readers of the forum reading unrelated and non-issue items.

QuoteOn message boards on 4Chan, we’re seeing Anonymous and Kim Dotcom say they have access to photos and videos of former President Bill Clinton having sex with minors.

It's probably just another lone gunman.

It would seem at least one CEO wants to make a deal with President-Elect Trump.  She actually acted like a grown up.
Smart move.

Maybe this article will help those who still don't understand why we elected Donald Trump. It was written by James Marshall Crotty who is a columnist for the Huffington Post (which refused to publish this).

Maybe I did not express myself clearly.  The number of electorates that a state has is totally dependent on their population.  They are allocated by the most recent census.  The more populated states are dictating who runs things now.

The advantage of the electoral college is not to the states, but to the parties, because legally the electorates can vote for other than who their constituents indicated.  It allows for more corruption, not less.

It is not completely dependent on the population.  A state is entitled to a minimum of 3 electoral votes, one for each Senator and Congressman.  As for your other point,  yes population is a factor but not the factor that it would be if there was no electoral college.  With the current system in place, small states still have an influential voice but if there was no electoral college, they would not.  That is the difference.

The electoral college isn't going to go away.  The only way to do it is through constitutional amendment and flyover country is never going to support that.  If ,by some miracle, such an event took place, then you would be looking at secession on a large scale.

The Left never negotiates...let's say we wanted to change the 16th amendment, and limit the power the federal gov. has to tax...right now they have complete control...they could legally tax 100 percent...we wanted to lower that amount to 40 percent by law, and then we would accept popular vote...the left would never agree to that....

Why in God's name would the Democratic Party want the Electoral College gone in any event?  It currently gives them a significant advantage and will do so for the foreseeable future.  Why would you flush that?   If the Electoral College goes away, the two-party system will go away, which means
they go away in time.

It really is an alternate reality...have we been transported through some type of "portal"?

What we've been in the past 30 years is the alternate reality.

When in history has there been a sizable number whose daily raison d'etre is to just shit all over their own country, who assume the worst about every past or present action, insist the majority are inherently racist and the only solution is for them to become the minority, whose media supports all that and more, and whose population blithely allows it?

When have a sizable group of citizens ever been so hell bent on destroying the educational system, the medical system, and the civil society?

Imagine a country knowingly allowing terrorists to hide among groups of people wishing to come in, and not do a thing to stop it.  Or allowing a long border next to a poorer neighboring country to be completely open, allowing those people to flood in, to take all the lower level jobs their own poor and entry level people need, and to use much more of the public services than they pay for.

Imagine a wealthy powerful country borrowing themselves into bankruptcy and a much poorer future to hire the useless at high wages and benefits, and to buy goods and services they don't need.

Imagine a country where people like Bill Clinton, George W Bush, Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton are considered leadership material.

That's the alternate reality we've been living in.  I really hope it isn't to late to fix.

So true...I started as a liberal early on in my life..then I changed...I have two best friends...one a hyper progressive professor at Rutgers...the other used to be a self avowed socialist...just yesterday he emailed me and said he has changed...in his older age now is a conservative on many issues and supports Trump...oh my what paths life takes us on...

I have to say. Watching the complete meltdown and destruction of every person I absolutely hate in society has been one of the best times of my life. The last week has been glorious on a level I didn't even dare to dream about.

It's like 1980 all over again.  Except with circus freaks entertaining us outside.

We're just in a Millard Fillmore, Franklin Pierce, James Buchanan like stretch.   100 years from now no one that doesn't follow history will have
ever heard of Bill Clinton or George W. Bush and Barack Obama will only stand out as the first Black President.  Certainly he won't be noted
for any major policy accomplishments.  George H.W. Bush might get a shout out for his adroit handling of the break up of the Eastern Bloc.
I don't see Trump being 'meh' , he'll either be exceptional or Gawd awful.

Whatever is going on in his brain, I have yet to see any evidence in any interview of any real capacity to understand, digest, analyze or recall complex pieces of information. Or to synthesize or generate anything but superficial ideas on the fly.

His thinking process is clearly much more intuitive than calculating, borne out in part by the fact that he doesn't read much and doesn't seem to think that it's a liability. I expect that he'll receive mostly dumbed-down, Dick and Jane tyoe briefings in an attempt to get him to make reasonable decisions.

But once the details and the subtleties of issues go out the window, it may very well be garbage in, garbage out, resulting in a White House that has big problems explaining what it is doing and reacting to the reactions of others.

We aren't far apart on Trump.  That isn't that far off from the impression I've had over the years as well.  So far he's made a lot of smart moves and good personnel choices, and I'm willing to be convinced.

Thing is, there were no great candidates this time around, from either party out of nearly 20 running in the primaries.

But you know what about Donald Trump?  He isn't Hilary Clinton.  Dishonest, corrupt, incompetent, unlikeable, greedy, power hungry, her instincts are poor, her judgment is worse, no rules ever apply to her, no sense of personal responsibility.  Really, off the charts in all those negative categories - we've never seen anything like her before in this country.

I tuned it out early on - did she ever manage to find even one single accomplishment to put in front of the American people they would have a positive reaction to?

In the end, there was only one choice, and we as a country - even you, whether you realize it or not, or whether you ever realize it - were very fortunate.

Hilary Clinton?  Really?  And you want to complain about Donald Trump?

Good point...I still think Obama had that "cult of personality" thing going on...that should put him in the books...but for accomplishments other than being black, I don't see much there..."he championed the rights of minorities, and the right of everyone to have health care." That's about it in the history books...

That thought came to me too. "is this real?" I woke up last Tuesday thinking I was in for four more years of being reminded about what a piece of shit I am for having the audacity to exist. I was bracing myself for a terrible day and filling my head with as much of my favorite music as I could. I was just gonna block it all out and wake up the next day expecting a tidal wave of gloat. ....

haha yeah some are now blaring even louder their 'how can you exist with all your flaws?' message, a tiresome charge which is partly responsible for their rejection.  Actually the part I was dreading most was the inauguration with all the gushing courtesans and hand-picked social justice nobility.  Have no clue what it'll be like now except the obligatory over-covered unrest surrounding it.
