General Mattis made it through the briefing with out knife handing anyone out of existence. When the reporter asked him what kind of message we were sending him I expected him to say "If you fuck with me I will kill you all" maybe next time.

The message hasn't been agreed yet. But stay on your toes, it will change tomorrow.

FNN: Attorney General Jeff Sessions Outlines Immigration Plan After Touring Arizona-Mexico Border.
Published on Apr 11, 2017
NOGALES, Ariz. (AP) -- Attorney General Jeff Sessions toured the U.S.-Mexico border Tuesday and unveiled what he described as a new get-tough approach to immigration prosecutions under President Donald Trump. The nation's top law enforcement official outlined a series of changes that he said mark the start of a new era to rid American cities and the border of what he described as "filth" brought on by drug cartels and criminal organizations. He announced the changes at a news conference following a morning tour of the border that included visiting a port of entry, where he exited an SUV in a white shirt and baseball cap before entering a restricted area. He later visited with Customs and Border Protection officers and agents. Sessions credited Trump for a steep drop-off of border apprehensions this year and said the administration will bring more felony prosecutions against immigrants entering the country illegally. "This is a new era. This is the Trump era," he said. "The lawlessness, the abdication of the duty to enforce our immigration laws, and the catch and release practices of old are over."

And be at least four times that for US coal. Of course they'll pay that. Lol

They are going to pay someone that is for sure. A lot of people lost there jobs and homes with the Democrats war on the blue collar but hey that is not why Hillary lost it was the Russian's.

Coal has been shipping to China for years, though leftists in the US and Canadian government, and "activists," at some points have tried to curtail it. No longer! Look for some of these ports to be expanded after all and more coal going. Though China is getting concerned choking and so look maybe for some LNG or cleaner burning units (again more opportunity for American businesses.)

Marilyn Monroe? Fuck.

You just don't get it. Maybe you're just fine with assuming Ivanka is smart=qualified enough to advise the POTUS on matters she knows nothing about. I don't need "insight" into her intellect to see she's way out of her league. Her and Jared's hubris to insinuate themselves into serious, far-reaching U.S. foreign policy decisions is astounding...
Quote from: Lt.Uhura on April 11, 2017, 12:00:47 PM
The stupidity and incompetence in the White House is frightening on so many levels it's become absurd. I keep waiting for someone wise and mature to intervene before we've reached a point of no return. Unbelievable.

Obama's foreign policy was an absolute disaster.  His worldview was just plain stupid.  Most of the time Hilary Clinton was his Secretary of State and later it was John Kerry.  They left an absolute mess.  Not one of our allies is better off, based on anything they did.  Not one of our alliances is stronger.  Not one of our enemies is weaker, after eight years of them projecting weakness.

Trump wouldn't have been my choice, and no doubt he will make plenty of mistakes, but the endless drumbeat of criticism from the O-bots and Hilary supporters rings a little hollow.  We are very very fortunate she is not making those decisions now.

When Trump does something on the level of green-lighting Iran's nuclear weapons program, be sure to let us know.

You should look up the definition of the I and C in ICBM

"I C Paris
I C France
I C a cold, loveless, forlorn existence stretching before me with only the bittersweet release of death to beckon me forward"

Still, preferable to High School Musical.

PB, the good thing is that for the first time in my lifetime,  the libs understand the Russians are out to destroy our country.

Nah.  At a basic level the Lib/''Progressives'' fall into two categories:  the insiders doing the strategic thinking and making decisions, and the rest of them following along believing the information they are given each day.  The insiders hate this country and want to destroy it, their ultimate goal being a one-world, left-wing fascist government run by them.  The followers just sort of cluelessly tag along thinking it's about saving the environment, equality, healthcare, helping people, etc.

Look at Iran-Contra.  For YEARS any mention of Reagan would draw smug self-satisfied comments from these people about ''negotiating with terrorists''.  As if that was just beyond the pale.  (Never mind how much support the Libs have given the Palestinian terrorists over the years, and to the current wave of terrorists posing as refugees now).

And yet when their hero Barock Obama ended the embargo on the very same government of Iran (an embargo which took years to negotiate and implement, and could never be put back in place despite his assurance it would be), unfroze their assets, gave them plane-fulls of cash to tide them over until they were back on the international financial system, hid certain ''side agreements'' from the public, lied about what was in the treaty, gave concession after concession at the end in order to get ANY DEAL, and lied about it not being a treaty and didn't go to the Senate for confirmation, in exchange for a useless unenforceable promise to slow down their nuclear weapons program - all that - and not one peep from a single one of them about ''negotiating with terrorists''.

It tells you they were never serious about their sanctimonious ''we don't negotiate with terrorists'' schtick in the first place - it was all just a stick to beat Reagan with.  This whole thing about the Russians is no different, they couldn't care less and don't mean a word of it - it's just a stick to beat Trump with.

Ha Ha funny good one. Until you realize they spent, in 2016 over 12.5 billion dollars importing coal.

Great. With that money made from exporting coal we can give China back even more to import their solar systems, since they dominate the clean energy industry. Trump's vision is not sustainable.

In the levelling of global CO2 emissions, we can now see the results of domestic action. China is the world leader in renewable energy investment, with $102.9 billion in 2015. In 2013, China banned construction of new coal plants in three industrial regions, and in 2014, the country set new targets to reduce or limit coal use in 12 provinces for the period of 2014 to 2017.
In China, the shift to low-carbon energy is helping to address the air pollution crisis, and renewable energy employed 3.5 million workers at the end of 2015, more than the oil and gas industry. Recently, China announced investment of $360 billion in renewable energy through 2020, which is expected to create 13 million more jobs.

“They [China] fundamentally changed the economics of solar all over the world,” said Amit Ronen, director of the Solar Institute of George Washington University, one of many scholars following the intense competition in the emerging $100 billion industry that supports the world’s growing solar energy demands.
China dominates the solar market in PV installation as well as total installed capacity, with the United States a distant third and fourth, respectively.

... Obama is a professor of constitutional law...

To the Left, the primary goal of a professor of Constitutional law is to develop expertise in finding ways to undermine it and get around its provisions.  As he demonstrated for eight years.

On a very serious and terrible note. The Carl Vinson battle group is heading to the Korean peninsula. Next week is the NK baby's birthday. There's potential for him to order a strike via ICBM on the group and SK. Just because he can. His airforce and missile silos are buried deep and not only almost impossible to find, but very difficult to destroy if they were.

All that follows is information available to the public that might give you some food for thought

I have three words for you:  KILL ON LAUNCH.  In the boost phase a ballistic missile is highly vulnerable.  It can be destroyed by pure kinetics without their being an explosion. (Think smart rocks.)
I would imagine that there are a swarm of drones over NK as we speak.

NK is a relatively small country and is part of a peninsula. Being as narrow as 125 KM at its center,  it is virtually all in a litoral and any point in the country is within easy reach of seaborne weapons.  The Navy converted four Ohio Class submarines that were Trident Missile launch platforms to launch land attack and anti ship cruise missiles. This was done because of a limitation on intercontinental ballistic missiles/warheads imposed by the START treaty.  The converted ships which were formerly SSBNs were redesignated SSGN and they each carry 154 cruise missiles in place of the 24 Trident missiles.  Within the terms of the START treaty, cruise missiles can be tipped with nuclear warheads that produce a yield that places them in the category of a tactical versus a strategic weapon.

In my opinion the VIncent Battle Group is for show at this point.  However, if Kim were to be crazy enough to launch missiles at it and they are not destroyed on launch, the 5 Aegis Combat System equipped ships in the BG would be more than sufficient to knock them down.  What would follow would be a devasting attack from the Sea of Japan, the Yellow Sea and South Korea that will make the shock and awe of Desert Storm look like a small town fireworks display.  I wouldn't loose too much sleep over this.

Never in our history anyway was one moron so perfectly aligned with the regime he represents.

I thought the weasels serving as Obama's Official Spokesman were as disingenuous and dishonest as he is

I think you mean this renewable energy.

http://www.world-nuclear-news.org/NN-Fuel-loading-starts-at-Chinese-demonstration-HTGR-0704175.html or was it this one?

http://www.nextbigfuture.com/2017/04/china-completes-tests-on-reactor-pressure-vessel-for-first-new-version-of-a-domestic-nuclear-reactor-design.html

I want to save the environment, I like the idea of renewable energy hell I like energy it is a hobby. Solar can power your lights and maybe your phone and few other things temporarily. It is not going to heat your house in the winter, that is if you live in the northern climes. It will not power your car for any serious distances, it is not going to provide for the needs of a city nor are you going to be able to make steel with it. The Conservation of energy, energy can not be created or destroyed. When you walk outside in the winter and it is 32 degrees or 0C that is all you have. The Chinese investments in solar looks good in the paper but the reality is they are going nuclear. They need energy the amount of coal that quoted was up a significant amount from the previous year. They are going to continue to burn coal to meet the needs until they can bring a significant number of reactors on line. When that happens we will be buying energy from them.

Also they are going to be the first to cure lung cancer

Thanks, was a week without internet and even radio in many places and it was actually pretty nice. But back now, alas. Fun to see how the Russian spy and Putin's chosen candidate Trump is now accused by the leftist media as wanting a war with Russia and provoking them. How things have changed in a week!  ;)

No, you are not even remotely "up to date". For all your nonstop BLOVIATING you are a complete fucking (uninformed) embarrassment!

Well, if I'm so ''uninformed'' let me repeat the questions you didn't respond to in your post:

Where, exactly, did the Russians get the information they used to try to ''influence the election''?  Where did they get it, if not from Hilary's emails taken from her server?  Isn't the release of Hilary's embarrassing emails exactly what we're talking about?

Since Evelyn Farkus and Susan Rice have both admitted collecting and spreading information gathered on Trump, and it found its way into the Democrat Media, please explain how that isn't due to spying and illegal leaking.  Really, I'd like to know.

We know Obama spied on the media, on the Congress, on our allies.  He tried to make the case for collecting every phone call, internet message, even front and back photos of all our mail.  But you think he would draw the line on the Trump campaign and transition team?  Even though officials in his administration admitted having the info and spreading it?

Go ahead, lets have another frantic, emotional post, instead of an actual answer.
