No Americans wanted ANY entry level jobs?  Even in 2008-2009?  That's strange, because students used to have just about all the fast food jobs, plenty of young people and legal immigrants were wait staff, cashiers, mechanics, gardeners, factory workers, construction, around here it's nearly all Latino now.

I'm all for immigration.  We should have seasonal visas for agriculture workers, and they should be paid properly and well treated.  What we're all fed up with is unvetted people - many of them criminals - just flowing in when there are not enough jobs available for them too support themselves, and too many government handouts as an enticement.  No one is trying to take away your housekeeping staff.

Used to is the key phrase here. In the 60s my cousins and their high school friends used to pick table grapes in August in California's Central Valley in over 100 degree heat.  I don't hear today's American teens complaining they can't get jobs picking grapes.

Fine, keep voting for the Ds.  But I don't want to hear about the high unemployment rate among Americans with a high school education or less, even if they are black kids everyone pretends to care so much about

Clintons:  In the ash bin of history

Obamas:  Soon to join them

It's really too bad the Libs never gave a shit about the crime, about sucking the welfare system dry, about taking the low wage and entry level jobs our own people need.

How did you think was going to end, with real Americans out-voted in their own country and kicked to the curb?  Maybe the noble 'undocumented' folks the Ds are so willing to use for their own purposes shouldn't have been invited here and coddled in the first place.

But like I said, take a breath and stop listening to the people who've been lying to you all along.  This isn't the Holocaust.

I can't speak for liberals, but to say that they don't care about crime (whatever the source) or welfare fraud and/or addiction and wouldn't mind illegal immigrants taking jobs Americans want (very debatable) is just baseless. What liberals are overly tolerant of is the flouting of immigration laws -- and they have that in common with Americans left and right who benefit from the cheap labor.

Immigration problems should have been effectively dealt wtith decades ago, before the problem had a chance to fester into the sore it's become.

Now that all of my friends have completely lost their minds and De Blasio has moved tons of howling mad homeless people into my neighborhood, where should I move to?

This is sad. It's not just NYC either, there are likely few places across America without homeless populations.  Maybe Alaska?

I'd be okay with the homeless if all the lunatic liberals left tbh.

An outsider would be forgiven thinking that 'logic' was the prevailing opinion of the Trump supporters on here.

The CIA and armed forces have been caught several times bringing drugs into the US.  It is one of the reasons why the VietNam war lasted so long, lots of big wigs making money from it.  I would not be shocked if charitable organizations were fronts for drug running or laundering, either.

Is Trump unaware of this?  This is the reason why Reagan promised to get rid of the drug problem, but after much time all he could come up with was the 'Just Say No' campaign.

Why else would you do any sort of charitable work unless you can launder money through it? That's the entire point and reason to have a charity. Why do you think every football player, even no-name washouts have charities in their names?

If you made wire transfers to Mexico illegal, the illegal problem would take care it myself.

...at least until they figure out how to use Bitcoin... then Quimby becomes stupid wealthy when it explodes.

Viva Trump!  ;D

"Our own people" might need these jobs, problem is--they don't want them.

I've worked in various hospitals for decades and as for as long as I can remember, the entire housekeeping staff has been Latinos. As one might imagine, housekeeping is a vital job in a hospital environment, one that can't be done half-assed without risking hospital-wide infectious disease outbreaks.  Cleaning blood and body fluids off floors, bathrooms, gurneys, walls, etc; sterilization of operating rooms and equipment...It's hard work, and not without risks. Check your local hospital, you'll likely find there are job openings on various shits. So where are "our own people" who need these jobs?

I second this. Most white and black kids are utterly worthless human beings when it comes to work.

Then they need to look at their rhetoric and their policies, because the end result is they are encouraging all the above.

Let's take crime for an example.

The Ds make it more and more difficult to get convictions, they want sentences to be shortened, they let criminals out of prison early, much of the time an illegal alien is not deported when they get out of jail, they encourage the rioting by Occupy, and now BLM.  They encouraged the rioting in places like Ferguson and Baltimore.  They've encouraged this to the point cops are being assassinated.

The Democrat governor of Virginia gave felons the right to vote - just in time for the 2016 elections.

There doesn't seem to even be an acknowledgement by the Ds that many illegal aliens are cartel member, gang members, or simply violent criminals.  Instead they use this as another opportunity to smear those saying so as racists.

There doesn't seem to even be acknowledgement by the Ds that Islamic terrorist soldiers are embedding themselves in refugee populations.  Instead they use this as another opportunity to smear those saying so as racists.

I can give you more examples if you like, or address the other issues you mentioned, but I think you see the point.

Typical; face a diffcult dilemma you can't answer and resort to something you think might insult.

With Trump having no policy experience, people are parsing every comment and every movement for clues on how he will govern.   People across the spectrum are projecting their own fears in some cases) and hopes (in other cases) on him.  Neither will be correct, some will be relieved, others disappointed.

We went through the same with Obama, who was a complete unknown at the time for most.   I'll admit, bad as he has been - our worst president IMO - I'm relieved he wasn't worse.

We've never had to wonder about other incoming presidents.  Not to the extent of these examples.

The other day I heard an NPR show (we should cut off all Federal funding for it at this point despite them having some decent shows sometimes) that was essentially "call in with your fears about the Trump administration." It was amazing. Way worse than even the fringes of the radio shows about Obama, that don't get tax-payer money. No push-back from host, no "fact checking," or anything, just "triggered" people telling their worst fears about Trump and sympathetic words from host.
