Exactly the kind of elitism I'm talking about, pud. See, this is a necessity. It's for your own good. Now be a good lad and take yer medicine.  :P

Of the two of us, its far more likely you'll be on one form of 'medication' than me.

Abortion and gay marriage are the result of Supreme Court decisions.  No president, despite the shrieking on both sides, can change that.  New justices won't either thanks to the doctrine of stare decisis - the decision has been made.

If that were true then no one would be worried about the Supreme Court banning weapons.  People are especially if Hillary is elected and selects liberal justices.  In general, I do agree with you.  The Court itself will never outlaw abortion or gay marriage but it could remand those issues back to the states for them to decide.  In the case of gay marriage, I seriously doubt anybody will be eager to remove that right from that minority.  Bad pr and the backlash from corporations could cripple the state that tries.

Imagine a non-liberal saying this about a liberal icon. The entire left would lose their minds. Quite frankly, I think Trump would wreck that fool.

I doubt that. Trump is fat, slow and stupid and also has small hands.

Hmmm. Almost all the Labour party MP's in the Britsh Parliament and the entire shadow cabinet forced the re-election of their leader. They certainly didn't pull any punches in their expression of Jeremy Corbyn (as left as you can get; he makes Clinton look like Donald Trump) being completely out of hs depth as a viable leader. Nice guy, but just not suitable as a leader. But because of the way the voting structure is; ironically brought in by Corbyn's predecessor, who hung by that petard!; Corbyn was re-elected by the entire membership, although the MP's don't want him!

Trump's speech outlining his first 100 days as President delivered in Gettysburg.  (I understand he never laid out any agenda despite the billing but used the speech to whine and air his grievances.)

And those are his plus points.

The threat to guns, if Hillary is elected, will come in the form of executive orders - require a special license to buy ammo, for instance.

False, the U.S Supreme Court has reversed precedents on many occasions.

¶The Roberts court is finding laws unconstitutional and reversing precedent â€" two measures of activism â€" no more often than earlier courts. But the ideological direction of the court’s activism has undergone a marked change toward conservative results.

In regards to abortion, it may be unlikely that a conservative Supreme Court would fully reverse the decision, but the attempt by Republican state legislators and governors hasn't been to ban abortion outright, but to ban it by stealth by coming up with all sorts of ridiculous regulations.  Fortunately, the Roberts Court has agreed that many of the regulations are ridiculous and are nothing but a back door attempt to ban abortion.  However, the rulings have been a close vote and a more conservative court may uphold future ridiculous regulations.

Small Hands Trump has announced his first song will be titled "I've Got the Rigged Election Blues."

You are amusing when you attempt to be a person of other than limited intelligence.  You links, even your pull quote say exactly what I said - stare decisis.
BTW, how is the weather in Manhattan?

I can't find a quote right now but I had the news on earlier and was just listening to it in the background while I was getting some stuff done and I swear I heard a democrat quoted as saying that he thought Hillary would pass her gun control laws through executive order.

If the Democrats don't take back control of the House and don't eliminate or significantly alter the ability of the 40 Senators to filibuster nearly all legislation, I can see Hillary Clinton doing that.

But, the idea that she would try through executive order to require people to have some sort of special license to buy ammunition strikes me as ridiculous.  I think it would clearly be seen by the Supreme Court as the same sort of back-door approach of trying to legislate an evasion of a Constitutionally protected right as the Republican approach in a number of states of imposing ridiculous regulations on abortion has been regarded by them.

If nothing else, the Trump candidacy has proven to be a comedy goldmine.  The #TrumpBookReport hash tag is trending big league.
