I heard Joe Biden say on the news today that he'd like to take Trump out back behind his old high school. I didn't know Biden was gay. It's quite a time he picks to come out, right before an election. I guess they're really trying to firm up the LBGT crowd vote.

I don't think Biden is young enough for Trump. Or the correct gender. And Biden isn't Trump's daughter or one of her friends. Therefore he won't be interested, which does beg the question why he fancies Putin as much as he does.

The reality of this election is dawning on me more and more with each passing day. I know I would detest a Hillary presidency and I think the left needs to go back to the drawing board like the Republicans had to after Bush.

But I'm becoming less enamored with the idea of a Trump Presidency. Especially with some of the early returns coming in.

I haven't voted yet. I may just vote for Alfred E. Neuman for President as I do in all the local elections I don't care about.

I think Trump would do considerably less damage to this country but I morally don't think I can vote for someone who wants to reverse the progress the gay community has made in this country over the last eight years.

I know Trump in interviews says he's cool with Gay Marriage but I can't interpret what he said about the justices he wants to appoint in any other way. I understand what he's saying about making it a state's rights issue. But to me, this is a very serious civil rights issue and one of the very few things I would like the federal government to be involved with.

Watching Trump blow out polls in early returns in Florida and Wisconsin is making me have a bit of a come to Jesus moment.

With that said, I still wish Hillary and the entire Democrat machine would crash and burn.

It's a tough choice and one I don't make without considerable reservations myself but a vote for Johnson or Stein at this point is like voting for Hillary. I've gotta roll the dice on this making America great again thing and just hope for the best.

What he said about the justices and issues being a state's right issues solidified my resolve to vote for him.  That said,  I doubt that we will go back to traditional marriage only. Pandora's Box has been opened and it will not be closed.  It is a nonissue for me.  I agree with him about abortion but I'm not militant about it.
