Thanks to your suggestion, I have seen the first two episodes. My wife finally agrees with me that McConaughey is a very good actor.

The show is so well done, the writing, the acting, the locations, plus all the references to other works... awesome.

Have you seen Dallas Buyers Club onan? I can't work out whether McConaughey's acting is worthy of an Oscar is was it just because of his dramatic weight loss? If he had played the roll exactly the same but without the weight loss would we even notice him? Or is it a combination of both?

WTF. I don't recall a show peaking my interest so much. I've been a Lovecraft fan for a while, but never really delved into the cosmicism aspect of it, and it seems to be the same for a lot of people.

Episode 5 just hit Pirate Bay.
