I did not link to astrology. Behold: http://www.thesecretlanguage.com/report/personology/?r=19680820

It says so, right in the URL. Further research: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Personality_psychology

The advantage of science is that, it works even when you don't believe in it.

Also, the advantage of science is that it works, even when you don't believe in it.

Further, the advantage of the comma is that it works, without there being any chance that someone can rip it out of one's hands and shove it right up one's pooper, which I give good odds to there being someone in the audience wishing they could do to one of us, right about... now.

By the way, Mr. Fidget, have you tried putting whatever you're on, up your pooper? Tell us it's the pooper this week.

I wish we could tattoo that on Noory's forehead.

More useful on his navel, as he's invisible in all mirrors.

Explain why you have to type in your birthdate then.  Any psychology I'm familiar with deals with personality types, but no birthdate link to them.

Can't remember what comedian it was... but he was on a blind date with a girl.  She admits to him that she has a previous conviction for drug smuggling.  He asked what happened.  She said she carried $50,000 worth of drugs across the border in a body cavity, and if that's a problem.  He said "All depends on what drug it was."  Cause if she can comfortably handle half of an acre of Mexico up her...

Jackstar

I don't have to type in my birthday.

Well, shit, bro.  You never told me I was welcome.  Where's the milk and cookies?

You've gotta be in the clique, mang. The FORUM clique.

IIRC, you also need place of birth.
I think you're thinking of this: http://www.alabe.com/freechart which is something not quite, but almost, completely different. One totally has to type their date and place of birth into that.

Mr. Fidget

It's science! Jackstar is channeling Dr. Kiki! Call George!

pps. Dr. Kiki would likely tell you that dividing 7+ billion people by 365 personalities is.... malarkey.

The Secret Language website... if I would want to see what it had to say about me, I would have to enter my birthdate.  If you are already registered... you might not have to because it already knows what it is.

On the main page... I'm familiar with the book that's in the middle, though it's been at least fifteen years since I looked mine up and read it.  Someone I met in college had a copy of it.

Then clearly, I need not explain anything about it to you. :)

bigchucka

It's just when I look up anything about my personal birthdate... astrological charts... etc. and it talks about my "artistic" abilities... I laugh my ass off.  Unless it's talking about how I can make a crane or a cup out of a piece of paper.  I don't draw... I don't paint... don't play any musical instruments...

What happens sometimes is things are worded in such generalities that when some people read it they think it fits them, which is why they believe in it.  I think Penn and Teller did a show on it, but I'm not sure...

Jackstar

Science isn't meant to be believed in.

Look, look. Every snowflake is different and unique. And yet, there are certain statements we can say with certitude about all snowflakes. They are all cold. They are all made out of water. They are all crystals. Et cetera.

Someone born on December 25 has different birthday parties, than someone born on February 14. That's just a stone cold fact.

There is a bunch you can use where you care too. I don't care about grammar style, it's a waste. I'm aiming for substance...

I appreciate your stance on commas, but why on earth are you putting spaces between words?

I think the flat earth society had a similar belief.
More importantly I know... if I came here looking for advice (which I did not) your advice would lead to the same sour mind state you so obviously suffer from.
I don't hate you, I don't even dislike you, as a matter of fact I consider your "participation" in this thread nothing more than comedic filler, and pretty low brow filler to boot.
I would rather build than destroy, thats what this thread is about for me. For you it seems to be an annoyance, and one that you choose to consume voluntarily. Then you post like you've had the bad taste forced upon you.
I'm done responding to your judgemental preconceived agitation.

Mr. Fidget
ps. Pato Banton got his fidget at the Fox theater in Boulder, Phish was great backstage the night after I met them and gave them some fidgets, as was the Dead show where I met Jerry backstage. I was there when Steve Miller met Joan Biaz for the first time. Ken Kessey got his fidget on his Furthur tour bus. Babb's at the McDonald theater, just before he gave me his all access pass to Ratdog. That's enough name dropping, and I hardly got started.

Funny, how so many that question science, are incapable of understanding it.

Dear Mr. Fidget,

What advice do you believe that I have given you? Show your work.

Love,

This phone. It's junk, and after I use it a while the keyboard gets overly sensitive. At least I think thats why.

And even funnier yet how the constant progression of science leaves all it's mistakes hidden as if they never happened.

Even better yet they use tools that science gave them to question science.
Uses computers and intertubes to question science... fucking magic.
How does it all work, wizzard?

And I don't wanna talk to a scientist. Y'all motherfuckers lying, and gettin' me pissed.

Mr. Fidget

I found this... nuance rattling around, I though I'd share it.
After getting jacked up by the LAPD many times, never charged with a real crime... I adopted the "Do you have articulable suspicion of probable cause to detain me, or are you seeking a consensual contact?" methodology.
Almost all of the last 20 (no exaggeration) contacts with them in the last five years, I never even had to give them id. It's like Will Rodgers said "I learned young on the farm not to wrestle with <insert farm animal here> in the mud because you get dirty and they like it."
A few months ago I was standing outside a Starbucks that I know everyone at, and I had just helped put in the tables and chairs. I then went to get the coffee I had set on a nearby paperbox.
As I picked it up an LA Sheriff pulled a u-turn from across the street and pulled up to the red curb by the paperbox. He rolled down his window and said "Do you live around here?"
I reached to remove my headphones and said while doing it "One second I couldn't hear, it sounded like you just made an illegal u-turn in an intersection without your lights on as required by department policy, and double parked in the bus lane to ask me if I live around here. That does not sound like articulable suspicion of probable cause, so you must be seeking a consensual contact, no thanks." And I walked away.
He could have made anything up, he could have said I looked like some guy he busted, or like a suspect they were looking for, or that I had committed a crime he witnessed. At least he was not evil, like some others I've encountered that feel as if they are judge and jury.

Mr. Fidget
ps. I guess he was just doing his job, but I would not say he was doing it well, since Venice is full of dangerous people many with guns. They just like to feel busy... doing whatever they want.

If you get bored with that, check out some of Terry Jones's historical documentary style shows.  Barbarians... Medieval Lives... The Story Of 1 (if you can find it...)  The Surprising History Of... all were good shows.

That is a great story! All we need now is Paul Harvey.

EPILOGUE: You know everyone... at a Starbucks. Well, at least we know you can routinely afford five bucks plus for a "coffee," if not exactly how.

Thanks, I needed the laugh. Yeah this world is off the rails, I'd not be surprised if that was a true story.

Mr. Fidget
ps. Culver City police are not even provided business cards, a recipe for unaccountable disaster, be careful in CC. One time (in Venice) they tried for me with "I thought I saw you stumble." 15 seconds on the voice recorder and back in the car they go.
pps. Everyone should have a one touch record from their phone's home screen, for "good measure."
