That mini Fidget is damned surreal.

Easy to imagine the occupants of The Gnome Mobile beating each other senseless, arguing over who next gets to manipulate the Fidget.

Dead gnomes... mini-sized blood spatters on the vehicle's interior windows.  Conical hats stuffed into tiny mouths.

Not exactly what Walt Disney planned, but is Fidget-worthy imagery about supply and demand.

Mr. Fidget, since you're interested in art and you enjoyed the red crayon Scorpion a while back, I wanted to point out to you that my current avatar is one of my earliest digital manipulations.  It's a creature based (very loosely) on a creature described by an associate back in the 80s that he saw, perhaps in the 50s or 60s as a child. What he witnessed looked nothing like my depiction, but was altogether "disturbing."

Mine depicts a possibly "other dimensional" entity.  What he claimed he saw was definitely corporeal, black, .... and egg-shaped. Egg may be the wrong word. A sort of bottom heavy (pear?) Russian nested doll shape might best describe it. No ears, nose, or mouth. Two unblinking gold eyes. Skin like vinyl or rubber. His story reeks as much of "alien" or "screen memory" as it does "supernatural."

Anyway, you're always graciously sharing your art, like a few other talented artists on the site who choose to share. I suspect there are more than a few keeping their creations under wraps, whether it be writing, art, or music.

I tend to be stingy (secretive) with my work, both writing and art, but BEHOLD, "ectoplasmic butler guy."

Ok here's what I want you to do. Please stand on one of those old school public scales that you have to pay to use and have someone take a photo of you also holding a newspaper with your weight and the date prominently shown. Then I need another photo of the same with you holding the fidget in order to get a proper reading if the weight if the fidget and also give us the added benefit if ridiculing your weight. Only then will I send payment and only after I convert my money into Albanian Leks.

I'm pushing forward, a bit at a time. Some advances, followed by retreats... it's all just cyclical. It's been nice to make some chain art. I have joked for years that the micro fidgets may be a favorite of the woodland folk, every time I misplace one, I figure they "procured" it.
   Thanks Cam, I see your AV art has kind of a ghostbusters look to it, although it might just be the pallet. I think GB's ghosts were that kind of green. Maybe I just can't read the word ectoplasm, without thinking about the GB's.

Glad you like the micro, it's one of my favorites... and people do seem to like them... I don't make many.

I mentioned it way earlier, Linkey Fidgets are for external use. Aldous, your willingness to "take one for the team" is admirable. I think some other commodities would be more lucrative, shall we say. My art does not have a very substantial markup, and being made of metal... it would not be easy to avoid detection.

I guess if you got a free trip to Australia it could be worth it!?

   When I got to the point I could do this in both hands, symaltainiosly... I experienced an overall increase in dexterity, & tactile acuity.

I recommend it as a practice for increased eye-hand coordination.

Although there are a few "genuine" ones down under, I think yours will be the only "set" of them. I could be wrong, since days in Venice blur together. It's difficult to remember details of my daily "transactions"  as humanity becomes "a wash" of faces when thousands, upon thousands of people parade by you daily. I don't recall any Australian getting a 6 pc. set of from me. I think you're bragging rights are safe.

Thanks Cam, no frustration was sensed. Yesterday when my cerebral cognification unit mistook Tarbaby's mild and humorous quip, as a full asault, I had a nearly catastrophic navigational experience. So I made the switch from Cogswell Cogs, back to Spacely Sprockets.
   I hope the stringent quality controls diligently exercised by Mr. J, and crew, will prevent further troublesome misinterpretations to such a major degree. The switch payed off already in the case of interpreting your remark.

So far, so good GFP2216... things went well today. The gearing ratio adjustment of the switch requires me to second guess my first assumptions. As an instinctual pilot... I often fly far too close to the wall. The "spacely gear" [in head space] gives me a reason to focus my attention on the sublime. Spacely's reexamination of navigational trajectory... seems to yield a more stable flight path... thusfar.

   Good news! I have just accepted an offer to host a one hour radio show, without commercials. It will be internationally available on Tunein, and on air in the particular market of the station(s). Archived for convenient listening, and free speech focused... within FCC guidelines of course. I will make all content and presentation decisions. As this is an unplanned addition to my current endeavors, although certain to happen, it is yet to be decided exactly when. I have other projects underway as well, so it may be some time. Aside from my scheduling, it is a done deal.
