Seriously I just had tears brought to eyes. A woman who was a poll watcher in Georgia gave testimony to their senate committee that was easily the most passioned indictment of a corrupt political system I’ve heard in years, maybe ever. She starts slow by describing utilitarian sounding but valid grievances of process, including the gas to the building’s heating system being cranked off during the night so the place was near freezing which puts the counting machines out of compliance. Ok.... but then she builds up to a huge but polite fuck you I will not shut up crescendo. Even as they tell her they want to break so wrap it, only then does the trunk flip open for her bullet storm start spitting out of the machine gun of truth of her words! It was magnificent! I’ll try to find the replay fer sure. I would vote for this woman for anything. And that’s not nothing.
