If I had desired to make myself into a more approachable being with a more popular social profile, I would likely have done so already, and/or would be applying attention and energy to that personal development goal now.

However, as it is clearly apparent to me that I am, at present, mostly surrounded by associates and other influencers who are actively looking to halt progress in certain areas that are of keen interest to me, burning through personal resources in order to establish myself as a person that behaves in a fashion that other people can reliably predict seems like a non-starter idea.
