I think that the report about Furadan was just f-ing terrible. When are people going to realize that the world is bigger than they are? Basically, it was about poisons being used to kill lions. Well, the population is on a nice swift road to extinction thanks to a poison from the FMC Corporation in Philadelphia being sold cheaper than water in Africa.

Basically, I want to ask you all to not buy products from Latin America, such as coffee and crops like tomatoes. Not only will you protect yourself from lots of pesticides (this shit builds up in our blood too.... are you surprised we have so much cancer in human populations now?), but you will help birds survive senseless death. A lot of song birds (you know that nice chirping and singing you hear, especially this time of year, suffer death and bad eggs because of these pesticides. Every year, about 67 million birds die.... and not the ones like crows! The cute canaries, finches, and other birds that eat insects and flies.
Also, don't buy pesticides or weed killers. They don't even work - I am a big gardener actually, and I can tell you this as a personal testimony.

I don't just care about birds because they're cute yadda yadda.... I really think that these critters reveal a lot about what we are doing and what we are capable of. They are amazing animals - even the ugliest ones like buzzards and turkey vultures! We are dumping so much shit into this planet - 5 billion tons of poison. It can't be good.

One of the funniest things I love to see is people with big liberal stickers and pins who throw plastic bottles or cans into garbages at a University. It's so sad to think how much trash is under us. And republicans, well, they are allergic to anything that has to do with conservation, why? Jesus I wish I knew. It's sad, maybe because Rush programs them to think that way?

So please fellow Snoory haters: I ask you to avoid pesticides. Avoid mass produced coffee purchases if you can. And write the FMC Corporation if you care. Here's a video that shows all the animals:

The funny karma/result:the bees are gone. The acorns are gone. This year, if you had a bird feeder, you must have noticed the squirrels going at your feeder even more than usual. I totally blame pesticides and I think it is sad that even after all these problems, we'll keep doing what we will, even though everyone is falling out of bed with weak bones and blood pressure with obesity. We won't die if we cut back. I swear. In Iran, there are weddings where people waste and over buy on purpose, just to show they are rich. In Russia, people over pollute on purpose. Almost as a way of saying "it's our land, we control it." What a pity. And no, I'm not an eco-terrorist! I'm against that stuff.
