if there are enough obstacles they may be enough to flag up someone looking to cause harm before they actually do so

'May be enough' isn't enough. What you're proposing amounts to a logical fallacy.

Did you listen to the last update about an hour and a half ago? 19 guns.  There is no point in being nasty.

In the last three hours, I have reports that variously placed the number of guns found at 16, 19, 23.

I don't find this inability to count as being plausible.

Seatbelts aren't necessarily enough to stop you dying in a car crash, but you'd be foolish not to wear one. And don't use terms that you don't really understand.

Leave Burl Ives out of this you wing nut. How can you clown around with such a discordant topic as this. Swishy Pud.   Get a job and a conscience.

Has the next one happened yet? The LV one is so last week now, can't the victims and the families just get over it and move on? FFS its 'murica, don't they know people have rights? They should stop their whining, the medics should just carry on putting broken bodies back together working in theatres for hours and hours without complaining (it is their fucking job after all, right?) and accept that its every morons right to own legally more weaponry than the SAS and Delta force without redress. Carry on.

And are you people still dwelling over your radical neighbors who carved up your women just the other side of London Bridge while their "boyfriends" showed bad tackling form and skipped on up fairy street?

Well, there are only 125 in 4 active duty Squadrons of each Pud, so I guess they're "out-gunned" and won't be able to do jack shit about it now huh? It's ok. It has always been so. Citizens just know how fucking powerful that fact now is and that they are the true BADASSES, not SOF/SF, and damn sure not the Cops or Feds! Maybe that's why the Founding Fathers let them "OWN" stuff. Commie bitch!

Pudski, serious question now, and I would like you to answer:  Why do SAS and Delta Force need guns?

How did the self defense argument work out in LV? Did anyone panic then in the dark not knowing who, how many or what the assailant looked like? Or did they react exactly like normal humans who had no idea what was going on or where the attack was coming from because, oddly they didn't know each other and hadn't taken part in a realistic exercise so they could co-ordinate and plan what to do. That is what happened in London too, and in fact what usually happens in any terrorist attack, just like LV on sunday night.

To take on an enemy. The caveat being they know what they're doing, how to do it, and intimately know when, and what their team members will do. Its what they train for every day. It is after all their job.

As I said yesterday, your point is well made in this instance.  If you would like me to provide you with many many examples of ordinary citizens thwarting "an enemy" WITH a firearm, I would be happy to oblige.  Also, there is a surprising number of armed citizens who are trained.

Ok..good...now, what makes an enemy an enemy?

Now we may be getting somewhere. According to the Las Vegas paper, shooter boy was prescribed anti-anxiety meds in June. Possibly a grown up school shooter.

I want to know what Pud thinks about all the guns in Switzerland.

Not wearing a seatbelt has saved every person involved in a roll-over crash you retard! The seat belt laws are unconstitutional as well.

But not with each other. And few will ever have trained in cqb with live rounds. If there are ten people in the area, all armed and two are the assassins, how will the other eight know who is who if they've never met before? Difficult at best.

No "Delta" or SAS guy has EVER pulled off such a magnificent operation as this lunatic did! So much for "knowing what they are doing!" He kicked major ass with no training or support. He's the most badass Operator ever!

How did the bullets fired from the 10th floor, middle of the building, wherever else, get out through the window without breaking it.

Why does this question imply that the window couldn't just be opened and closed? hurrrrrrrrrrr

Only a moron would equate this situation with a personal firearm, self defense situation. If there were a whole battalion of armed soldiers on that concert ground, they would have been unable to do anything from that position except take cover.  Your argument is asinine, obtuse, and outright retarded.

Show me a "Delta" or SAS with 60 kills and 400 wounded in 10 minutes! DO IT FAGGOTS! NEVER! He was a ONE MAN "Delta Force!" Civilian. No training btw. :)  With 125 of him we could destroy humanity! Totally!

Yeah because being flung around a roling vehcle and through the windows as the vehicle rolls over you is so much safer. Tosser.

Unconstituional? Fuck. Rofl!! Some just need saving from themselves, they're in this cult that says blokes (no women remember) 250 years ago when the rest of civilisation already was established knew everything. The fat kid's dad in NK invented the microwave too.

The state does not exist to save the citizen from himself (women are chattel so fuck them). And yes, not wearing a seatbelt saves people when the roof crushes in dumbass!

Sooooo. The argument of self defense is retarded too. You've admitted that it would have made no difference. What WOULD have made a difference would the POS who did it being prevented from buying all the stuff he did. But then, it was his right. Nothing to see.
