Canadian Court might ban Cleveland "Indians?"

SJWs at work and the usual trying to get attention ploy- but it will be interesting legally and in marketing and how the MLB, the owners (some were named in the suit,) MLBPA, and the broadcasters/media will handle this. Game is going to start soon and as of yet I haven't heard about any ruling or continuance or dismissal. Or if, as the article mentions, the Indians will make it a moot point by playing in an alternative road uniform that doesn't have "Indians" on it. Also will any Cleveland fans who traveled for the game be banned from wearing the logo or name? Does Canada have free speech in that case or can "hate speech" be used by individual provinces to ban gear? Will a similar stunt lawsuit be also used in the NHL when they play in Canada?

Thanks for the update. I hope the Indians sweep the Blue Jays in the series. I'm guessing, from the statements, that the issue is not over and more attempts like this will happen in the future for certain teams.

The RCMP or Mounties would drive a car to the courthouses, you wont find horses at any courthouse, usually.  The RCMP horses are kept in a barn, no where near any court house.
The RCMP horse stables would be very similar to the "mounted units" of the USA's NYPD/LAPD/Chicago PD etc used for crowd control and ceremonial purposes(parades, funerals etc)  the main RCMP display team is called the Musical Ride, 32 Cavalry, perform various choreographed movements.  The Musical Ride was featured on the $50 bill from 1969-79.

Canadian Bailiffs are simply called "Bailiffs", with similar powers as Police Constables.  We usually have high seniority Provincial Police guarding the courts and judges as they carry a sidearm.  But there are a lot of different types of bailiffs, just as in the USA.
