take a look at the riveting conversation taking place over at the NHZ regarding this guest.  just a suckfest.

;D  I posted on another thread about this;  Midnight DARED to say this topic was a "bit off".   He's been cyber guillotined by now.

A friend of mine who also listens to C2C (and whom I'm trying to recruit for this site) swears that the infamous guest "JC" is that incredibly annoying UFO Phil.  I'm not sure.

When Art would deal with those hilarious JC calls, you actually could believe he was some religious nutwing.  I seem to recall that Georgie ruined this too by spilling the beans that JC was a hoax, but I could be wrong.

This man is board-certifiable.   He's actually more narcissistic and annoying than Snoory, if that's possible.

That idiot just let him ramble on and on.   And the part where he claimed his wife has given birth to numerous hybrid babies.......

George Noory:   "Now they're hybrids, right?"

Has anyone else noticed he's having more and more "technical difficulties" when it's his turn to host?

I hope he doesn't go the Rollye James/Barbara Simpson route.

When I think of Nighthawks Zone, I think of this guy....

Yep, pretty much.  He's all of those idiots, rolled into one!

Kaku for my money is the best guest by leaps and bounds and could listen to him and or Sean Carrol almost every night.

The worst by far imo is a guy named Turi... calls himself a doctor because he has an honorary (self-purchased doctorate of divinity).

Yeah, I agree with you.  Turi is awful.  He was just on the other night.

That lawyer, contractor, and alien abductee, Gordon James Somethingorother, what a pompous ass.  Art would've called BS on him five minutes into the call.   The autobiographical rant alone would've made me hit the mute button.

Okay, new friends, I have to admit, I have an addiction.

Not something I'd ever admit to my three year old, but I find I'm compelled to visit that ridiculous Nighthawk Zone.

Unfortunately, it's like rubber-necking past a car accident; you know it's wrong, but you can't help it.

The other night, when Snoory had that awful, narcissistic lawyer on who supposedly was an alien abductee, and Planet X expert,  even
those idiots couldn't really defend it.  That poor Midnight person; he's probably banned by now.  He dared to say that "tonight's show is a bit off".......

Now, I see that registrations are once again closed, and you can't lurk there.... ;D

I don't even care about them trying to be pro-George all the time.  It's all so robotic.  Before I found this message board I went there because of the mentions on the show.  At the time we were planning to go to Roswell, so during the show hours I went in and asked if anyone had been there, if it was worth going, etc.  I pissed off the guy posting all that was being said on the show because I was making off topic posts.  It was so stupid.

If all they're going to do is post word for word what is being said on the show, why have a forum?  Create a blog or something.

I just don't understand why the heck anyone goes there.  Do you really want to just agree with the other three people posting there?  Why is it so great that it is mentioned on the show repeatedly?  I am missing something or they're all idiots.   :P

Exactly!!! Plus, the writing style is, well, almost "word for word" the same for at least four of them. Supposedly, they have over 3,000 members too ;D   It actually is quite nauseating.

I just wanted to add that I'm still a newbie here, but the atmosphere on this board is really nice; people are respectful to one another and, just, well, nice!  Thank you for making me feel welcome!

???  What the heck is up with that site?????  I really believe those "members" are all sock puppets that George Noory had somebody create.  It's complete, unadulterated drivel.  And that "BadBoy" dude.  I guess he feels nobody else has a radio or are total idiots.  It can't be a real site; it just can't be.

For example, somebody posted, and I quote, "Here comes the music (insert funny emoticon)!  Hi, George!"

If anybody knows more about this ridiculous crap fest of a site, I'd love to know more.

I can't stand Ian.  Pure and simple.  To me, he comes across as a real pompous ass who is incredibly narcissistic.  It always bugged me when he would call in during the Friday night show just to discuss HIS upcoming show.  Also, his blog was extremely annoying, "I. P. Freeley"???? A grown man, honestly.   The movie reviews bugged me too.  I don't know; his delivery, manner, and brusque way of treating guests (even Steve Quayle) just overall annoys me.  I stopped listening on Saturday altogether.
He's as bad as Snoory, IMO, just in a different way.

I added this guy to the "worst guest" thread.  I thought he was extremely dull, and frankly, added nothing to the subject.

George Knapp is great though.

I could have sworn I had seem a picture of her once - but could not find any on the web.

She bugs me - but what bus me MORE is how sincerely interested in and impressed by her Art seems to be.  GEEEEEEZE . . .

Sorry, EvB, I didn't read through the whole thread; didn't know you already mentioned the picture thing.

I'm not sure how I feel about her. She and Sylvia Brown have the same voice. I like Sylvia, her now infamous misses on 2 high profile cases not withstanding. I don't think it's possible for a psychic to be 100% right all of the time, and when you are under pressure to make a prediction on the spot, it must be hard. You go with your instinct, but that may be wrong if you are not really 'feeling' it. I have some of her books and I've enjoyed reading them.

I think Art's wife was a practising witch, which is probably how he got sucked into the whole thing. I am not sure if his former wife knew Evelyn. I'm under the impression that she did. Anyway, I don't like anything to do with the occult, so I am not into her, but she is interesting, at the very least.

Spikegirl,  I thought the same thing re: her and Sylvia Browne!  To add to the confusion, there aren't any pictures of Evelyn on the net that I'm aware of...hmmmm.

No offense, but I can't stand that Sylvia Browne.  I caught about 5 minutes of her one time on Montel Williams, and I almost threw up.  She kept licking her fake nails (yes, she did) and was rude to the audience, imo.   It sure was great to have Art at the helm though.

I don't know; last night's guest (9/26) ranks up there pretty darn high on the list, imo.  Normally, I'll drink two to three cups of coffee just to stay awake to listen to George Knapp when he's hosting, but this UFO expert, someone named "Mark" (forget the last name) had to rank as one of the most boring people ever to guest on the show.  His voice gave me a headache, and after about an hour, I just couldn't take it anymore.

Awful, just awful.

Archive of Old Threads / The new "Unsolved Mysteries"

 :-[

This actually dovetails with the collective sentiment here about Art;  I work nights (I'm a nurse) so, if I've had a difficult time sleeping, I'll turn the dreaded "telly" on. Of course my three old senses this, so it's time to cuddle with Mama....(too precious).  To get to the crux of the dilemma:  I caught an old episode of the new "Unsolved Mysteries"; hoo boy.

It's awful.  It's nothing personal against Dennis Farina (sic), but when Robert Stack hosted (RIP), this show rocked.   More crime focused than fear factor.

Thoughts?

BTW....thanks for the nice, warm welcome!

:)  Hello everyone!

I've lurked here for awhile and joined tonight.   What impressed me the most about this site (in addition to the wonderful, liberating feeling of being able to tell the truth about Noory) is the friendliness of the members and real sense of community.  I simply don't understand how people can view him as a "wonderful host".  He's terrible, pure and simple (I know I'm stating the obvious).  That "Nighthawk Zone" is absolutely nauseating.  Good for a laugh, though! ;:)

At any rate, I'm looking forward to posting a lot here and getting to know all of you!
hi, shelliesmom.  pleasure to have u here.  post frequently.

Forgive me if someone mentioned this idiot before; I didn't see his name mentioned in any of the previous posts.  He seemed like a major Noory sycophant and a crook.  I noticed that he hasn't been on the program for awhile and I'm wondering if he got the Sylvia Browne treatment.

Anyway, great to be here!

Marc, I'm sorry I didn't acknowledge you..... :-[ thank you so much for the warm welcome!

I couldn't agree more.   Maybe it's just me, but there is something solid about Knapp's delivery.   Challenging without being offensive or condescending; he would be the heir apparent to Art, in my opinion, anyway.  Doesn't have Art's flair, but then again, who does?

I must admit, I never cared for Ian.  His sense of humor is juvenile and, well, stupid (to me anyway) and I think he's too rude to callers and guests.   The ultimate wish:  Art comes out of retirement and occupies the mike every Saturday.  Sigh, well, one can hope....

i've got to go with harlet the satanist.

Agreed.  Art handled that interview masterfully.   If he really did feel genuinely scared, he never gave any indication that he was .  He knew how to run a radio program expertly and with finesse and intelligence. I think that interview was replayed on "Somewhere in Time" a couple of months ago, but I can't recall the exact date.
