Thanks, Dave, for handling those "situations/guests" so well tonight. Gave you a chance to show you can manage whatever comes at you.

That works for Coast coz it has two guests and topics a show (one guest/topic for 4 hours is too much), and it has great weekend fill-in hosts (one of whom is Ian Punnett again soon!!!!!!!).

Didn't you make the shortlist for an interview?

Bring on da hate...but its true. I still stand by my belief that Art was her father.

She said she had plans to go on, on Tuesday.. but now she has family reasons keeping her from doing so. Though this whole last week or so, she's been saying she is too sad to go on, etc.
If she can't do it, Keith has to find somebody who can. This isn't Heather's personal podcast. It's a real-ass produced show started by Art Bell, and there are bills to be paid. She said things were going downhill - ratings, subscribers, whatever.. but she was doing nothing about it. I get grief. But like countless others have said, Art even came back to tell us what happened with Ramona. How the hell is it that every other guest host of Art's has now done their own tribute show, but his has not?

Amy's recovering now... Unless the surgeon removed her lungs, vocal chords and tongue, she'll be on before Heather LeonaBellLeonardWade.
She's already more sane and has exponentially more photos online.

Let’s place bets. Who does the next live show on any network? Heather Wade or Amy Martin?

Heather posted that she has not committed to coming back this Monday.

I vote for Sexy John B. Wells as the new MITD host. I don't care if he's happily engaged now. He'll always be my imaginary boyfriend.
Pass the Courvoisier.

Listened to the the AB tribute show this afternoon, thought it was well done overall. A few comments:
1). I had never heard either the guy flying into Area 51 or Mel's Hole segments, only heard of/about them. I can't believe anyone took them seriously at the time they were broadcast.
2). I was deeply touched by Bell's telling of the death of Ramona. C2C staff is to be commended for playing that segment.
3). I had also never heard/heard of the story of Bell gluing his lips together. Another example of the double standard here for AB and GN I've mentioned in the past. Had George glued his lips together while doing C2C live, it would be a constant source of ridicule with endless memes and the odd avatar. Conversely, had Bell burned himself on a Pizza Roll, the site would have been populated with a number of "get well Art" messages and would have not been used to poke fun at him.
4) It will be interesting to see if Heather comments on Brinkley's claim that the Area 51 foolishness was Bell's idea. I said it was immediately after hearing about it.
5) Art Bell was the finest radio interviewer I have ever heard, I doubt there will ever be another like him.
RIP Art Bell

Hoagie indeed has a show, now only on weekends.
There is a Bellgab thread for it too where some come and post during the live shows.
Here is Hoagie's website for his show:
