I'd enjoy hearing the panel give their views on who is most/least credible and why among famous talk show guests. Who would win, Andrew Basiago or Grant Cameron? etc.

I had figured on listening to both shows at the same time, but for some reason assumed it would be on two different streams.

PBS, it was good to hear you. The Gabcast needs a higher-pitched, just as easily agitated voice to offset the more laconic male histrionics. PNI was really great and I'm sorry that mix of characters doesn't mix anymore; please ride MV for more PBS gabcasthosthoods.

It's both reassuring and unreassuring to know that I'm not the only one going through the back catalog. The Gabcast is actually pretty great, although the arc of its story is recently quite dark. Someone (other than me) should put the all poop stories into a single file like the all JC calls. Then maybe we'd  be able to get back to our roots.

I definitely do not know how to podcast, nor do I have the right equipment. Personally, I suckle on MVs tit, which is why I plead here for a gabcast.

I can't believe there is no gab to cast. Has all the butthurt resulted in permanent podcast blockage?

There needs to be a fresh gabcast or someone needs to go back through the old ones to patch together enough material for a frankengabcast.

Yeah, no, I agree. It wasn't the ACLU; it was a Republican thing in the works for many years which became fully realized under Reagan. One of Bateman's guests, Dr. John Liebert (also a co-author with Bill Birnes) talks a lot about the deinstitutionalization movement in one of his books. Liebert is a psychiatrist who works with mentally ill criminal offenders. I remember hearing about deinstitutionalization in the news when it was unfolding, learning about it in college when people were warning  that without developing a structure of community mental health resources to take up the slack it would lead to disaster. Liebert is pretty much reporting on the disaster and we're all living in it today.
