I like her.  She's got a nice voice.  Seems like a nice person. 

With all of the awful personalities and grating voices that populate talk radio, she's a breath of fresh air.  Lightweight subjects, etc? Sure.  But anyone who still holds C2C in high regard, or takes any of it at all seriously, needs to take a long hard look at the quality of their entertainment/information. 

I certainly don't mind having her lovely voice in my headphones every once in a while.  I'm far more likely to stop on the station with Lisa Garr hosting than I am any number of blowhards that occasionally host, including/especially the main man.   

I haven't listened to Noory in I don't know how long.  Many many months.  But I was just flipping stations and tuned in just in time to hear his guest (some exorcist guy? no idea), expertly telling George (paraphrasing), "I'm sorry George, I'm having trouble hearing the bumper music... if you could just let me know when we're almost out of time, that way you won't have to keep cutting me off like that.  I apologize."

I'm sorry I missed the show.  I'd read it was about UFOs again so I didn't make the effort.

I am also a lucid dreamer.  Not nearly as often as I'd like to be, but I've had many.  They've largely come in groups.  And then not again for a long time, then again several nights in a row.  They can be terrifying at first, but by the third night I'm so comfortable (and still occasionally terrified) that I go in with a plan of specific things I'd like to do or, mainly, people I'd like to see.  Departed parents (heartwreching and amazinggg), old girlfriends (same), friends, what have you. 

I've often thought that some alien abductions are simply lucid dreams where the dreamer isn't aware that they're dreaming, let alone that there's the possibility of control.  Their surroundings are created by their minds.  Their fears and expectations then play out before their very eyes.  They're creating it, they just don't know that they are.  That would explain why the "greys" are so common.  It's because that's what people expect to see so their mind forms it. 

Whenever I hear a tale of alien abduction, I listen with an ear to if it could be a lucid dream, and it almost always makes perfect sense to me that it could very well be. 

If you feel you might be lucid dreaming, btw, but it's fleeting and won't stick?  Rub your hands together.  It'll ground you.  Then have at it. 

In an era where craftsmanship is in short supply, in virtually every field, it's such a treat to hear someone perform with such skill and expertise, who actually takes great pride in what he's doing. 

I have to add, I'm around a lot of people working towards their doctorates right now in physics/astrophysics/etc,etc, and only a veryyyy small percentage of them know how to prepare a meal, do their laundry, pay a bill, or socialize with anyone outside of academia and are baffled by people with "jobs".  So.... I'm having less and less respect for fancy degrees all the time.  Particularly in this day and age.

Has there been a list compiled of terrestrial stations that will be carrying the show yet? If not I think it'd be a fine idea to post said list on the main page along with links to those who live stream via either their own website or iHeart radio.  That way if any capacity issues arise, we'll have options at the ready.  Just a thought.

okay, dumb question... where can I hear this fine voice of (Redacted)'s?

So i got a couple minutes into the interview video before I stopped because I just couldn't care less.  But what was surprising to me, and now not surprising, was that George simply decided to be a radio talk show host, and had only been doing it for "about a year" before starting to fill in for Art =0 No wonder!!!  This guy never put in the time to hone his skills, master the craft, etc etc.  He just jumped into it, a huge break was inexplicably handed to him, and he's been coasting ever since.  No pun intended.  He doesn't know HOW to be good at it, because he never needed to be.  He never had to improve to succeed.  He was simply tossed into the big pond, has been in over his head ever since, and assumes that it's his special kind of magic that put him in this position, so it'll be his special kind of magic that he relies on, to the exclusion of all else.  Really interesting.

I propose an "Art's Bad Back" thread.  Or perhaps just "Bad Back" in general, so as not to focus exclusively on Art's personal affairs.  As we all know, aside from keeping us all updated on his well-being, which we appreciate, Art's said again and again that he'd rather not discuss it, due to the belief that we'd all be bored to death.  I suspect also that he's just tired of complaining about it.  I've certainly reached that point at times with my own physical issues.  But there seems to be a lot of people here with that shared, albeit maddeningly unique, experience who want to share what they know, or their story, or their secrets, or whatever. It could also give Art an outlet, if he so chooses, to bitch and moan as he sees fit, where he's pre-approved to do so, and in the company of people who get it.  But mostly for others to share what they feel they must.

Just an idea.

I'm no fan or defender of Noory, but for anyone to think he was at all serious about proclaiming himself "King", etc etc last night is beyond ridiculous.  He was obviously just mocking what he perceives your view of him to be.  Tongue firmly planted in cheek. Anybody outraged or offended by anything he said last night is just jumping on that highly played-out internet outrage holier-than-thou bandwagon.  He was poking fun at the whole dynamic betweenst you.  This whole *GASP! he compared himself to Jesus* thing just makes you appear mock-outraged and overly fake-sensitive.  On this site, no less.  Get over yourselves and enjoy the "ride".
