i really hope this isn't the reason.

Thanks for speaking up for all of us time travelers, MV. Your voice obviously is heard louder than most of the rest of us. These things hopefully will be addressed in the near future. I am grateful that I have the ability, albeit limited, to hear Art, On-demand, and have not wanted to sound like I am whining about the archives' short-comings.
              -enjoying the ride-

Oh my God, look what somebody sent me on Face Book: http://www.rawstory.com/2011/03/exclusive-limbaughs-parent-company-still-using-actors-to-fake-radio-call-ins-exec-tells-raw/

Premiere hired one of those actors to take over Art's old job.

I listened to Richard C Hoagland's Tue. nite/Wed. morning show. He told his side of the story of the friction between him and Dave on the air, and behind the scenes. It was great hearing it straight from the horse's mouth. PremRat sounds almost evil.

I am loving having Art back, and having the ability as a time traveler to listen to the show the next day. A few things bother me about the archives though:  1- Why can't the archives include the bottom-of-the-hour news segments?   2- I feel like I am missing a lot of talk that happened over top of the music. Can't the music be recorded onto a separate track, and then removed for the archives? Or record Art's mic feed only before adding in the music for broadcast?
Thank you Keith for all you do for us Bellgabbers
Thank you Art for being you, and sharing yourself with us.

The thing I noticed the most about (redacted) last night was that she was speaking through a huge smile on her face, and that made her sound wonderful. Good job Red. I think you can, and will, fit in beautifully as Art's side-kick

Oh, I listened to Knapp at the start tonight of C2C, too.  No mention of Art.

No doubt that Dave will wish him luck tonight!!

My curiosity is piqued.  I may tune in to Knapp just for his intro just to see what he says.  Of course, Art will be on simultaneously.

Well then please report back to us and let us know. I am curious.

First question for Dave, "Given your tens of hundreds of listeners each night, to what do you attribute your success?"

I don't easily laugh at things I read.....but this one cracked me up.
WELCOME BACK ART!!!!  These past 2 years have felt like 10!

Also, Linda Moulton Howe was on Caravan to Midnight. I wonder if she will get banned now from C2C or is that reserved for only those guests who appeared on DM or on Dark Weekend?

Linda was on DM, yet was not banned from C2C. It was the best interview she's ever done in my opinion.

I wonder if I can take an escalator down to the crack at the bottom of the ocean. Or should I just wait until it drains and then walk to it?

I think that was the worst interview, yet.

It's what finally got me to seek out this forum and pretty much be done with C2C.

Totally agree.

Or why would you even listen to the NoorFest?
Hello, MtnCrazed; nice to meet you~ If you really want to listen to "Coast," there are alternatives to paying for it.

Hello Ben. Nice to meet you, and everyone else on this site, too. I do believe I will be cancelling my Coast Insider subscription. I just am not yet aware of a decent alternative. I frequently listen to Art Bell reruns from long ago. But listening to old shows with outdated news and topics (O.J. Simpson; Y2K, etc) is not very fulfilling.....yet I still listen because, well, it's ART!! He has a way of making ANY topic or guest fun to listen to. And that evil little laugh of his....cracks me up. I have checked out a couple of the shows currently being streamed on ArtBell.com, but haven't caught anything interesting yet.
Occasionally I hear a C2C show that keeps my attention. But mostly, I zone-out while listening. I do like listening for those Noory-isms, like "the noble prize", or "us states" instead of U.S. states. During the same show with escalators up mountains and cracks draining the ocean, first hour guest Ryan Mauro quoted Russia's Vladimir Putin who said; "the collapse of the Soviet Union was the greatest geo-political mistake of the century." Jorch replied with; "Well he had that right on the head, didn't he?" I sooo wish the guest had questioned him about his reply! Jorch is clueless!!!

Anybody got the actual quote about the ocean crack?  I want that for my FB wall.

GN: I've always wondered if there was a crack on the ocean floor, almost like, you know, a sink, if the water would run through it and literally empty the ocean. Is that conceivable?
JD: Uh no, no. The water wouldn't uh, well there isn't any place for it to drain into, because down below, um, the solid floor of the ocean...the rest of the earth is solid right there.

I should be able to get a 50 cent refund on my Coast Insider subscription for every stupid question Jorch asks. My guess is that the entire subscription cost would be refunded within a week or so. OR....in one show.....last night's show in particular. I quit listening after the escalator up Mauna Kea question. Hours later I decided to resume listening (after the laughter subsided) only to hear him ask John if a crack in the ocean floor could drain the ocean!!
I could go on and on with my observations of just how poor of a job Jorch does with the show, but it's all been said already. Can anybody suggest to me an online show that might hold me over until Art returns in 2015?
This site is hilarious, I love it.
