What free feeds have the previous night’s show as a preferred at 10pm EST?

I've been out of the loop for a while. I tuned to DMDN and I am hearing Art's voice. What's going on?

I supported Heather right up until Art's death. Man, she's gone overboard. Dave is 10x the host she ever was and it was very evident right from the start that he was a professional while she is an amateur.

She needs to get it together.

I haven't had much time to listen to the new show. What's the general consensus?

Is the show still starting at the usual time? (Midnight EST)

I heard Falkie reported $10k/mo for Heather...  2000 subs +. Those AB repeat nights were doing around 2k streaming peak...

The numbers were obviously WAY down with Heather, but the DMRN was typically one of the trending stations on Tune-In. They must have had a decent amount of listeners.

IDK about TTs

Please tell me Heather isn't actually setting this up and this is a spoof.

I hope Dave doesn't pull this on MITD. Such a Heather thing to do... Boot a guest halfway through. (Though I heard of Art doing it at least once on Coast.)

I don't mind booting a guest when they are full of it. In the 90's, I recall listening to Art interview an "expert", only to have a caller who was a legitimate expert in that field (I seem to remember physics). Once the guest could no longer hide their lack of knowledge in this area, Art went to open lines.

I wish I could remember that show.....

How long do you think HW will last on her new gig?

Who cares?

ONE person posted that they heard a rumor about suicide, and now there are dozens of posts on it.

I live near Art Bell and I am a fan. It is painful hearing the chatter in town claiming Mr. Bell's death was an intentional overdose. I have heard 2 credible sources say there was a note. Where is the autopsy result? Why is this information being kept from the public? The sherriff knows. If you are reading this, you will also soon know. God bless that poor family.

I sincerely hope that you're not just creating a rumor.

I don't blame Heather for needing some time. We've all gone through deaths, they suck and we all grieve differently.

However, Heather getting upset with everyone is not called for.

To me, it just shows that Art was the only thing in her life. Not healthy. Additionally, she only knew Art personally for what, 2-3 years?

Heather called Knapp a vulture because he posted something about Art Bell.  She felt she needed to give him permission or something like that.  There's probably more.  I can't keep up with the soap opera.  Knapp responded to her post brilliantly as I recall.

I wonder if Knapp and Keith get along? To me, Knapp was the closest thing to Art and I'd subscribe to a show he did. But I guess why would Knapp even need Keith?

There's been 34 pages since I last posted yesterday. Who was the secret guest host?

Does Knapp have a beef with Heather or is it with Keith?

Forgive me. This is like a soap opera.

A bit of a sad day.

I backed Heather for so long, but she lost it. Enough with the drama

Dumb question, but how do you cancel?

I signed up the first day Art said he was coming back, and have been loyal ever since. This latest drama/meltdown is too much.

I've had a subscription from Day #1, but this is it.

We've all lived through deaths and it CAN take a while to get over them. This is ok. I can understand Heather needing some time. However, throwing a hissy fit over another guest host is not the answer.

RIP Art. Even your death leads to drama over people quitting.

I don't have nearly the same dislike for Heather that most people do, but I've always wanted George Knapp as a host.

Both sites are down for me

It's really strange to think that she would even say that. Shouldn't his wife and family be involved in those sorts of things? Not some low-rent late night talkshow host with a few hundred people listening.

Just goes to show you the strange people who were in orbit around Art, and still are...

It is quite obvious that she became a close friend of the family. Aryin has two young children and is grieving over the loss of her husband. It is reasonable to expect that cannot deal with funeral planning. I don't find anything strange about this.

Welcome back.  I wish it was for another big Bell comeback instead of The Big Goodbye.

I agree. A bit sad, but this is likely the last big "Hurrah" of Bellgab

I, too, have been MIA from BellGab for a long time. My wife, cave diver/explorer Jill Heinerth, was one of Art’s last guests in November, 2015.

That was a great show. I was just thinking of that one the other day.

i am really sad but i have to say this seems like something that almost seemed so.. inevitable? i mean he was only 72, and every one thought things looked so dire after his "pneumonia" what the hell happened, man?? Didn't anyone try and get him to go to hospital or what? I get he lives in the desert but damn it seems like he could have used some better care or something. And that Keith Rowland is such a unscrupulous dude, he comes across as an asshole in pretty much everything he does.

Who knows what he passed from. Could have been a heart attack.

Interesting to consider that this is the last, biggest event that will occur here at BellGab.

We all lost a part of the past today. We all have our memories of Art, and the magical ~8-10 year run where we all lost a lot of sleep.  Our memories were largely kept alive (to varying perspectives) through Heather and the hope that one day, he'd do a guest host or two on the show. We were always hoping to hear his voice after the chase. On long flights I still listen to Art's old shows, and frequently still fall asleep to U7 radio.

No more bashing about Windows 95/98. No more talking about time travel. No more glueing your lips together.

RIP Art. We all enjoyed the ride.
