What a cool place to go for a drink, like a combination bar and the Old Curiosity Shop!  I wonder if they had any mummies.  Love the highlighting of its respectability; you can guess what the usual bar was like, then.

An interesting look at the historic Mizpah Mine in Tonopah.  Discovered I believe, by Jim Butler's wife, Belle.

Some people lowered a remote camera down into the shaft about two years ago.  Very fascinating what the camera saw down there.  They lowered the camera as far down as they could and then brought it back up, pausing to examine several side shafts, or 'drifts' as they call them.

The video has no sound but there are easy to read captions to the left.  I only wish they had secured the camera a little better.  It tends to rotate as it goes down the shaft.  Kind a' makes ya' dizzy.

Pretty cool. A very "Vertigo" effect. Too bad GoPro and the like wasn't around in the Mel's Hole(s) days! That would be interesting video!
