For those of you that are still subscribers, do you ever wonder how much of your $5/mo is still going into Art's pocket while kicks back and enjoys life and refuses to go on the air?  I wouldn't be surprised if he is still getting a cut of the subscriptions and the chance of that happening is one of the main reasons that I dropped my sub.

Eh, I canceled.  I wanted Art to stay on the air, so I was paying to keep Art on the air.  Since Art's not on the air, there's no point to me sending my money.  No offense to Heather (she seems to be able to handle it anyways) but keeping some cheesy podcast that I don't listen to or care about on the air doesn't interest me.

If Art comes back, I may pay for a subscription to keep him back, or I might not, since the subscriptions didn't keep him on the air anyways.  Kind of losing interest at this point.

It is interesting, but does anyone actually believe that RCH is running the show?  I haven't listened to more than one of his programs, but from what I've read here (which I'll admit is hardly always accurate), he's been begging for Heather's spot, or thinks he deserves it.  Which makes me wonder- why does he deserve it over anyone else? Because Art's had him on his show so many times over the years? 

I think I want a bumper sticker that says "HONK if you listen to Art Bell".  Even if it should read: HONK if you listened to Art Bell.

I'm in.  I'm not cancelling.  $5.00 a month isn't going to break me, Heather is better than Noory, and Art's going to be back, as long as Keith and DMDN can hold it together in the interim, so I figure he can use every dollar.

~I decided on $10.00 max donation to stay subscribed to the time slot long enough to see if Art comes around enough to make it worth it. - And I think too much "come in unannounced" as he has said he might do will go over like a thud. We haven't seen him since that first time though have we.... I think Heather could do well on morning traffic A.M. radio perhaps, if she wanted to.

I'm trying to like Heather, I really am.  But I am having such a hard time listening to her. I realize change sucks, so I'm giving her a chance.  But I couldn't even make it through the whole Open Lines show, which is usually one of my favorite ones.

Let me channel her and try to write a sentence the way she sounds to me:
The. way. she. talks! makes it.... hard to. listen? sometimes!

You can also tell which topics she likes because she tries to engage the callers, and others she just blows off immediately. Art always did his best engaging everyone. I realize this comes from experience, but I am not paying for someone to gain experience.

I would expect that after 2 weeks, Heather would have gotten a lot better, but she is just not there.

I am giving them perhaps another renewal cycle, after that if I still cannot get used to Heather and/or Art doesn't come back, I'm done. $5 is not a lot, but it's also not a charity.

I'd join right back up. I finally bailed this week. I just had no interest in listening at all.

As of right now I can listen to Dave Schrader, via a much superior purpose built audio streaming app, for free. It's really not a hard choice to make.
