The entertainment value is going to skyrocket for about a week as she flails out of her depth and collapses under the weight of it all.  I'll be torn between pity, annoyance, amusement, and probably some measure of concern for her well-being, much as I can't stand her any longer as a host.

Haven't listened to last night yet--not sure I'll get to it, I skip most of the archives if I miss it the night of, anymore.  But if she really took shots at her producer on the air--and you can only assume he's working for free--he ought to drop her with a minute's notice.  This is pretty much a charity project, at this point.  Beggars can't be choosers, even if you have hoodwinked some total amateur into helping out.

I literally just got censored by Art Bell on his Facebook Page. So did someone else who said that she doesn't listen anymore. I am absolutely crushed. Censoring free speech on FB feels so wrong...I know it's HIS FB page, but really? Here's a part of the conversation: Art -- you know I LOOOOOOVE You -- please read some of the constructive criticism of HW's shows...it's not good -- yeah, there are a bunch of people who say they support her, etc, but there are a bunch of us who don't and it wouldn't hurt to review some of the criticism. I 'blindly' follow you, but not your pro·té·gé - she needs help. Thanks for listening!

Everybody has critics, I had lots of them. I do not agree with her critics, I listen and love her style. There are some I guess who don't like a Woman on the radio or don't like her because she is not me. If you have not heard her in a while take a listen, I think she is doing a great job but as I said we all have critics.

Engaged listening is a skill that I think GN & HW don't have. Giggling & feigning interest and curiosity is disingenuous. My time is valuable too. I would (and did) gladly sacrifice my sleep for engaging conversations.

I think it's easy to admire the on-air personna. But you and I and most of us fans never knew Art personally. There's a difference. Sadly I think your experience with him is fairly typical. I still like him as a host but that's it.
