Usually when I go lucid, I still go w the flow.  In the recent example I mentioned upthread, I just discounted the threat & acted accordingly.  What's really rare is when I think that as long as I'm dreaming, why not do something way out there?  One time I remember doing that & deciding to amaze the other people in the dream by making doubles of them all appear across the room, which I did.  I woke up laughing.

I'm not sure if that's the article that goes into this but it was more his behavior as a mind-controlling cult leader with a bunch of women in his life that I find disturbing. There's always been talk that the books were fiction but I only found out about this aspect in the last couple years.
