Yeah, I am with you.  She's thought a lot more about this stuff than I have, so I'll listen.

Personally, I think focusing on believe/don't believe with stuff like this is shallow.  Belief is an ephemeral thing and only acquires substance when you act on it, and few people listening have the slightest idea how they'll act when the occasion arises, or if there's even a choice.  It's just information you take in.
