Well, start in the thread titled "Art Bell".
Ya ya I could do that, but was just hoping someone could throw me a quick answer instead of combing thousands of pages looking for something specific

That telephonic sound we hear? Maybe, Art's trying to hack the phones i.e. "Captain Crunch."

I really want to support Heather.  She does have excellent skills but I find myself losing interest in the show.  The first show of the week with Tobias was great but I am simply not interested in the rest of the guests this week.  Another show on disclosure?  Really? Hasn't  interest in that topic been exhausted?  It would be different if Art was hosting.  I'd give the show more of a chance and Art would usually pull it off.
It is really unfair to Heather that she has been put in this position so early in the show's run.  She has been given an impossible task.  If Art had stayed and then went on vacation a couple months later and told Heather to sit in the chair, people would have been more accepting of her.  After a few years of subbing for Art, then she would be prepared to possibly succeed Art.
However, Art left the show and now people are angry.  Many have already given up on the show before giving her a chance.  If Art doesn't come back in the 30 day window then the show is dead.
I really don't know what Art should have done.  His wife and child are scared and I don't blame them.  Art said he was given an ultimatum by Airyn.  At least that is the way I understand it.  I might have done the same thing as Art did.  Maybe not.  One thing troubles me about Mr. Art Bell though.
DRAMA seems to envelop him whenever he is on the radio.  Has Art ever gone through a quiet year while he was doing the show?  I'm still a fan and will listen when he comes back but it is getting a bit old.
Where's Heather going to be two months from now?  She might be lucky enough to be an answer to a Trivial Pursuit question.  Maybe not.  I don't see this gig advancing her career in broadcasting unless Art comes back..  I hope I'm wrong.
I'll still remain a Time-Traveller and try to give Heather a break but every night, I am turning the show on hoping to hear Art again or some news that Art will be coming back after a few weeks away from thee microphone.  If he doesn't, the show is going to die come the middle of January.

I know the feeling. It's a rare but beautiful day when there's a paranormal topic that actually has something new. I mean, what was the last real new thing in paranormal circles? David Paulides missing people in the Nat. Parks? Black Eyed Children?

The night Art had the holographic universe may have been the best show Art did since he returned. (And that's not just because I was able to get through with my question about the intergalactic information-powered drive.)

My Microsoft Word 2000 just got a virus ... am I being monitored by men in black?

Sure wish you'd get that snazzy ascot and smoking jacket back to good use again.  Makes me happy.

long ass time to be together..and put out an album 2 years ago

Well, they were sort of a one hit wonder, so to speak and it set them up financially well enough, but not enough that they don't have to play small venues, so they just kept slogging ahead and still do.

Fixed it late last night messing around in the BIOS settings.

Like I said I'm a noob. I'm sure this has been discussed before but I have so many questions since the "departure" and no one to ask.. So first on my mind, what happens with all of the terrestrial stations that signed up for the show? Sounds like he was getting quite a few committed including some big markets. Also, anything said about people's subscriptions and worm holes?

All the terrestrial stations are getting replays of old shows with Arthur Bell, for thirty days due to contractual obligations. Heather Wade's show is only broadcast on the internet, probably only for thirty days also. Then the owner of the network will probably shut it all down, since Art quit.

Your best bet is to hit the member list and select Art Bell and view his posts, it's pretty much all there.

Also, has that's been any comment or anything from noory or anyone at c2c about the "departure"

Maybe she's hoping he goes like Preston Lewis level nuts.

Dave is talking Mayberry on his show this hour.  That might be worth hearing sometime.   Barney catches Dave sneaking into Opie's room and Barney and Andy put Dave in the slammer with Otis who starts to complain that Dave stinks.  Otis promises to stay sober for a year as long as he can get away from Dave as fast as possible.

Not a word, as far as I've heard.

This guy thinks a team of super-spooks is after him, but they're totally dependent on him obeying traffic laws?

He said his wife in some sort of home.  He may just be lonely.  (Or he may have driven her crazy.)
