Art Bell cancels show for good

I've checked with the Pahrump Valley News and learned that they inquired with the Nye Co. Sherriff following the earlier shooter report, and the Sheriff's Dept. had no record of it.  More to come.

I propose that MV change the name to BellGab.

After his last facebook post I really believe art will be coming back when things die down and that Heather is essentially the Hilly Rose keeping the show going while Art handles his affairs. I'm gonna keep my subscription because I think he's coming back, even if its once a month or once every six months, that's still more Art then we had before.

+1 also if like to support Heather even if she isn't Art bell. I don't think she's the solution but for $5 I'll help her. I think she will get better. I hope other keep their subscription to.

Just to clarify for you, I don't care at this point if he comes back or not.  My question about his daughter's photo is that of a parent, not a fan of a radio personality.

That lack concern about family security is the main reason why I called it a hoax weeks ago. Bell is a great radio persona, but should have a legal guardian off the air.

My only issue with Heather is I think she needs a co host. She is 100 % a champ for last night (I would have shit myself) . Most radio personalities work better with a co host, Art is good solo but I think he is in the minority. MV or B dubb or someone else would work good with Heather.

I agree, a co-host would be good also Heather's voice needs to be equalized somewhat, bring up the bottom end, roll off the highs, give her that old school FM DJ voice acoustics. But that's just my opinion, Art has a natural radio voice, like Ross Mitchell's, easily recognizable.

Hard to know what's going on with RCH, seems to be making a play for the main show. And he has a point. Art has left a lot of people in the lurch. At the end of the day though 10 dollar's a month seems fair enough to support this who ever stays around.

Yea, but that's not his style. As some of you probably have seen, he posted on FB that he talked with his wife and she brought up all the issues that they have experienced since he started MITD. Sounds like she just can't deal with him having a show. She will change her tune when she starts to get sick of seeing art lounging around the house, doing nothing, getting in the way. The typical retired man, getting in their wife's hair. I miss Romona.
