Hi PBS. Odd, turns out that yesterday your red background image was not loading at all, hence I was getting light text on light grayish background. Today it loaded properly and did not attempt to stack your elements vertically for cell phones (which I am using). I see the text is now sort of lilac color. However, if I go deeper into your site and try returning to Home via the menu selector I get the same problem as yesterday. I did note that from deeper pages of your site, Home is hard-coded using "index.html " (viewable in the address bar url). If you delete that and hit enter the page comes up nicely (for me, which in this case means displays the full desktop view layout complete with background image. The other pages of your site look good even in mobile, and have a unified consistent look and feel. It's just the Home/Bio page that is the problem child and I take it was modified after the fact and perhaps even using different software. Anyhoo, this new fangled "responsive" requirement is a pain in the ass!  Good luck with it all.
P.S. It just occurred to me that your pretty red (female) background image is probably simply too large to display (fit) on small screens. You might have to make a smaller sized version and force it to load when mobile is detected?

Thanks for the feedback. I think I'm going to put it back to gray today. It loads well on tablets, not so much on phones.

Well it is the last show IMO that is causing the hiatus and the holidays. I'm not sure what the future holds at this point. We haven't officially called it quits, but obviously we haven't done a show in two weeks. Several of the cast have quit the forum all together. I think a lot of it has to do with our different viewpoints on the recent Art Bell retirement.

I will be doing more podcasting soon as well as releasing my book in digital forum hopefully in the next month.

if they had named the show "fuck you, mv" it would have had a far longer run.  at least i think.

Honestly I learned a lot doing this. It helped me realize that I was taking things way too seriously. This was something I was doing as a hobby, and might be doing for money soon as I was offered something. But even the potential paying gig I was offered will take time to build. There are millions of podcasts, unless you are offering something way different than normal you'll just get lost in the shuffle.

Also there was a struggle with planning. Some of us wanted to do off the cuff radio, and some wanted it planned. I do best when I don't plan what I am going to say next.

Anyway that is the long and short of it. As anything it is a learning experience. It might be back, who knows.

Thanks to those who listened. Also, I am a writer first, broadcasting was never going to be something I took seriously.

What is interesting to me is that everyone is united in their hate of Noory. But when the Art Bell subject comes up, look out! I know at least five people who have quit the forum because it wasn't moderated and DP wasn't banned. This is silly to me. But to each his own. I'm not going anywhere. Personally I like the different opinions.

I think they are all fukin nuts, but thats just me.
Perhaps im the crazy one that thinks the guests on these shows may have been anally probed by daddy.
Rational thinking people dont think the way these guests do, we have a thing called science.
But that has been hijacked by lunatics
Norry is a fukin asshat, only in it for the cash, its obvious, Art actually liked his job at one time, have no clue how he likes it now.
I really think Art gets board and gets the bug in his ass to come back and broadcast sometime, that should have been the premise of his show.
Do a podcast once a week for free, fuck maybe once a month, he doesn't need the money, its just a hobby really.

I'm not saying any of us quit our show, I'm saying it's in flux. If I quit, I'd tell you guys. Somethings just run their course. And if this job pans out that pays me to do radio then I'm doing it.

Regarding guests hard to keep people interested with the internet these days. We can google if someone is legit, then again what the ever loving fuck is legit in paranormal radio?

I am reminded (thanks to the wit of Cosmic ToeRag) of that cabaret group '4 poofs and a piano' - we could call it '2 poofs and a podcast', although I think we'd need at least another contributor, preferably not from these shores, to counter-balance the awesome witticisms from myself, which I shall be lobbing in like pineapple bombs every other minute.

We need to explain GMT and shit too..    Your awesome witticisms will be lost somewhat on most, so you might have to present slides or at least a powerpoint presentation to explain things, to me if no-one else.

The whole enterprise lacked conviction. I think it was a mistake  to abandon the working title - 'Fuck You, MV!' - and also the ten minute section at the end where they discussed all the various ways in which MV sucks donkey balls.
