Yeah, exactly, I mean nothing stops us from geoengineering the planet using only water vapor. There are many other ways being thought about.
300 mil is nothing. Just don't pay all the defense contractors for 5 minutes

Welp, pretty much just lost me.  What a total jackass this guy is...  There are plenty of scientists who disagree with him, but he acts like anyone who does is in denial.  He's the one in denial.  He wants the little guy to pay for the big guys' mistakes.  He's a politician, and only a distinguished scientist with people who agree with him.  I'm not wasting my time with a political talk show.

Bout 10 years ago, I worked with 2 liberal earth science professors.  I politely told them that I thought it was great that Al Gore had made his movie.  They said, hey, we like Al, but he's dead wrong.

CARBON DOES NOT CAUSE GLOBAL WARMING.  GLOBAL WARMING CAUSES INCREASED CARBON.

These guys weren't calling for a tax on every human being.  They showed me in a text book how this works, how the sun is heating up and how this is heating all planets in the solar system.  And they were both extremely liberal.
....

....If you're going to have a political show, Art, SAY IT UP FRONT so I can find something else to listen to.

Nice post - Thanks.

The media doesn't want to report on those because that might jeopardize the socialist carbon tax agenda.  I think you might be missing the socialist dedication to taxing the middle class into poverty though.

I wouldn't use the term socialist, it's wider than that, I would use the term anti-humanist.

lol love how people are so ignorant and apathetic that they can't realize the consequences
of using false science to perpetuate a carbon tax!! Hilarious!!...if it weren't so sad.

Randall Carlson.

HELP ME REDACTED, YOU'RE MY ONLY HOPE.

email is producer@artbell.com

Art says she's been working hard and haven't seen her here for a while, so maybe she doesn't have time to read the threads.

I'd really like to hear him -- I take it you have and you liked what you heard?

This guy is like so many...he wants to be the ultimate scientific expert and then start espousing economic an sociological policy...he is not an economist or sociologist or a politician...

He cannot play both sides...scientist and economic policy maker....

From the Weekly Standard, a top notch respected enterprise.

"Lindzen is no shrinking violet. A pioneering climate scientist with decades at Harvard and MIT, Lindzen sees his discipline as being deeply compromised by political pressure, data fudging, out-and-out guesswork, and wholly unwarranted alarmism. In a shot across the bow of what many insist is indisputable scientific truth, Lindzen characterizes global warming as “small and .  .  . nothing to be alarmed about.”"

So Lindzen has joined us on the Dark Side. That means he is a Denier and therefore NOT a Legitimate Scientist. That Harvard and MIT climate scientist doesn't mean squat when compared to Al Gore's expertise. Al Gore is a god.

One of the chemtrail theories is that they are spraying some material to reflect the sun (barium?).

Here's the in-depth goods. Stephen Salter is the engineer that thinks it can be done for 300 mil.

It's the culture of the pseudo science. He doesn't even realize the differentiation.  It's essentially a cult.  I think of global warming kooks on the same level as scientology.

And why not. There are people out there that want to see me pay $2000/month for energy for being such an energy hog by driving my car and having a small home.

I'd rather hear about how advances in reaearch into solar energy technologies are making solar energy a more affordable option.

I honestly couldn't care less about this topic. Even if I did care, there's nothing I could do about it. But it's like listening to baptists and mormons arguing over religion. I don't care man.

Gassy Man

Ugh, nothing says old guy more than when they want to debate using 1950s energy technologies when there are plenty of newer technologies -- and clean ones -- available.  It's just like how the more impotent a guy is in life, the more he is fascinated by weapons of mass destruction.

There are links posted right after the post you quoted.  I'm on my iPad so I couldn't copy them easily.

Okay -- I know the frustrations sometimes with an iPad.   I'll go back.  Thanks.

Worst part is, if I want to debate stupid people who buy what this guy is selling, there
are plenty of forums that provide that kind of debate.

This is the Art Bell show.  I'm looking for aliens and ghosts and satanists and time travelers and psychics and prophecies and NDEs and Bigfoot, whether or not I agree with them.  If I wanted this rubbish, I'd watch Bill Maher or Sean Hannity.

Yes! I mentioned this in my earlier post.   It has bugged me that in 20 years of knowing this fact this is never mentioned in the media OR by most scientists.

Dave who?  I'm new here.

Am I the only person who doesn't have a strong opinion on either side of the global warming debate?  My thought is, humans may be causing it, we may not.  Either way it probably wouldn't hurt to cut down on emissions just from a health standpoint.

And when those clouds hit a coast and become precipitation causing coastal flooding and beach erosion, will there be a rain tax due to increased global rainfall?

I only care about the ramifications of this fakery being "validated".  Huge taxation, total government oversite of industry (to milk more money), and loss of sovereignty to the UN, which is spearheading the movement -- and our politicians are agreeing to.  You'll feel it; but won't know why.  So it's important.
