Whine about Obamacare all you want. But thanks to it, I was able to sign up to a decent insurance program which I wasn't able to get otherwise.

Art Bell thinks Oblundercare sucks -- whodda thunk it?
I had a minor heart attack in April 2013. My heart is 50 percent functioning and I have congestive heart failure. Thanks to the ACA, I can have healthcare. I can get help. Yeah, I'm glad for it.

Art took Viagra!
You sound surprised.  Maybe a new ad client for Art.  Better than Squatty Potty

The stuff you can get at the corner deli? There's probably sawdust in those pills.
Then maybe you should try a different location.  ;)

I'm fairly inept when it comes to technology.  Would someone help explain to me how I can listen to the higher quality AAC link that's always in the first post?  When I click it opens Windows Media Player but nothing plays.

I use a Grace Internet Radio I got from Amazon, works very nice and I can also use it for Sirrius/XM

I'm not surprised.  Just thought it was droll the way he brought it up.   ;D

That's what I meant.  I've had my share of filipinas in my life.  Let's just say that having a nightstand with drawers is a bad idea because things can be hidden in those drawers.

Going "Imelda" might involve shoe-beatings ;)

Then again, those could be interesting...

Me too, Juan.  For the last 5 years my medical insurance was cross my fingers and pray.  Now I'm covered.

"That's why they call it LONG...  FORM...  talk radio..."

Art's all about length tonight.   ;D  haha

Glad you got insured. i think everyone should be covered.

I just wish the politicians would have been honest and said most would see their costs go up to cover the costs...all of my employees saw a 35% increase...and they are all blue collar folks...and I pay 90% of their plan! I'm not required to pay that much, but i do...

In simple terms, AAC is an encoding that Apple iDevices utilize.  If you have iTunes on your computer, you may be able to listen to it with that.  Not knowing what software you have and what version of Windows you are running, I will take a guess and say make sure you have iTunes installed.  Then right click on the link and use the "Open with" option.

If you know how to change file associations within windows, you can change the default player for .mp4 files.  AAC files generally end with the .mp4 extension.

Not sure if that helps, but I can understand it better than I can explain it in text.
Perfect.  Thanks.  The audio really is a lot better.

Built-up is an understatement  :)

Gotta say, if I didn't have my kids' mother anywhere in their life, I would have stayed longer.  Good elementary schools there in GVR.

Thing that shocked me was that the locals who were born and raised there acted as the tourists did.  Way over the top.

Uh, yeah.
'locals' behaviour varies. Very few locals over the age of 30 go to the Strip anymore. We have 2.5 million people living in the valley and 41 MILLION annual visitors. 41 million visitors!!!  Usually, the only locals tourists meet are working in hotels & cAsinos. Really like GV. Henderson did it right.

I must be lucky because I am pretty sure my body produces way more of it than I need...

Same here. Everyone of my friends said the same thing. But it's like choosing between unleaded gasoline and rocket fuel. It's like watching The Wall sober or on LSD. It's like going to Vegas with ten grand or going to Vegas with a million. Always go for the peak experience.

I'm saying this because it's some weird taboo among men. Fuck that, have a blast, be that lady's or confused young man's dark sexual chapter in their book of life, be the baddest animal in the jungle. I was skeptical too until I tried. Pop a couple old man blues, rail one before getting busy and thank me later.  ;D

Living in SoCal, I've seen it and heard it.

Me:  White guy, thousand questions about financial responsibility when going to the county health offices because I'm unable to work, broke, kids need to eat, etc...  I stopped going because it was too expensive.

Latino man comes in, all that's said:  "Que es su nombre?"  "Ah, gracias, se sentarse"

Yep.

Buddy I knew, sadly died, and great Art Bell fan, died of cancer but beforehand was told, basically, his insurance was worse than the programs, grants, etc if you had no insurance. Seriously. When he went into chemo stuff NOBODY had insurance (said most spoke Spanish in the room for the refill place even) and still got the "stuff." There is a weird limbo-land (or was) in which some insurance/income is worse than some! Having said that, I sorta of suspect his love of C2C and conspiracy etc made it worse because he never went to doctors but always was into weird stuff (colloidal silver, HGH, wheat-grass, no vaccine, and advocated stuff like that Penthouse wife on with Art (though not sure if he used that) etc) before-hand. Not that caused it but...
The system is screwed and I'm all for "alternative" stuff- if proven medically effective and not ignoring the proven, if not perfect, advice of doctors.

And lots of other people are paying for it.

Now don't get me wrong -- I agree that American should be able to have a system that is fair and costs less, but people's biases, self-interests, and political resentments, allow the politicians and the corporate CEO's to rape the country.

But, don't forget, your neighbors ARE paying for your healthcare...

I'm old, pass a lot of gas etc., etc., I can't tell the diff between Mp3 and ACC, got hearing loss from playing with noise toys in Vietnam too...I dunno, it's all good.

Vanderberg school kicked ass, the library was beautiful.  During a school-issue protest...  There were shouts about the parents in GVR being prostitutes...  Uh, yeah.  Waiting for my kid to get out of school, a mom was negotiating.  She was going to charge $100 to show up in costume at the door.

Japanese Baptist Pastor's wife grabbed my ass, flashed me uppers and the crotch.  Sent me nude-photo e-mails too...  I love church folk!

Viagra side-effect possible "causing blindness." According to lawyer voice-over on commercials and pamphlets. Could that actually be the efficacy for some people?

Yea, my biggest costs are payroll and benefits, but I look at those numbers like my responsibility to my fellow man...many companies do not...

I just hope I can continue to afford my ethics going forward...
