Back to the sandworms (true story) - I had a friend that genuinely believed that when people did things that were immoral or unethical that this was because their soul had been invaded by a worm! By this legend the worm invades the soul and through the astral  this worm places various electro-mechanical implants on the person so that they can completely posess the body. During our discussion I asked what do the worms look like, and the response was a sandworm. I asked where these worms came from,  it turns out they came from outside the universe and came in as invaders through the Orion constellation. This has obvious paralells to Gnostic beliefs about the archons.

Ohh and the kicker is that they can be removed by psychic surgery. Of course recepients would say they felt better. Luckily my friend did this for free.

It's not like that--that's what is actually hypothesized there. Somewhere at the bottom of that rabbit hole of links, there's a page or so of manifesto.

It's quite detailed, yet no mention of how Shai-Hulud was able to make the buildings fall at free-fall speed into their own footprints, so I think it must just be some kind of psyop.
