If you have time, go back in the Art Bell thread in the days leading up to Dark Matter and read the epic exchange between Dave and Art. Art verbally kicked Dave's backtracking ass. It was surreal.

OK, lol Annagrammy hated the Mormon religion, more so polygamists and the culture within sects of Mormonism. She had a strong belief in intentionality and believed prayer actually preserved the bodies of religious leaders in some graveyard. I forget where.

Where she started to have problems had to do with suggesting MV should be careful with his opinions because he was the owner of then coastgab. She also got into a rather disturbing subject of pink socking. I don't know where it started and honestly have said more than I care to.

Annagrammy was one of my favourite members of the forum for quite a while, back when we had a smaller, clubbier vibe (remember Aquagoat?  Or MV's Radio Trainwreck?). But her emotional attachment to the place, and it's senior members, got pretty creepy at the end, and then, well, yeah  . ... the whole pink sock thing.

Many wished Anagrammy to be banned.  I was among her fans.  I wish we had more female posters.

I never thought she was particularly representative of the common female.

I also liked Major Ed Damien. He was hilarious on the Dave Sucks thread. To many people reported his posts and he left on his own accord.

He was one of my favorites.  I exchanged a few PMs with him in the days following his leave-taking.  He's another of those intriguing posters whose off-forum persona is nearly 180 degrees opposite their on-forum persona.  The night/morning he left there was a fairly new poster who had shown up on the GNS thread, seemingly with the sole agenda of confronting Major Ed Damien.  Now just who do you think might do something like that?  Hmmmm.

MV stepped in only because the other guy was hitting the "report" button on every one of the Major's posts, and we know how annoyed MV can get when he's being bugged that way.  MV made a post in the thread saying he was sick of getting notified about so many posts and that both of the posters were stupid.  That's what caused the Major to leave.

The noob davebot troll who was trying to get Major Ed banned took his leave the day after Major Ed left.  Mission accomplished.

Yep, it was all on her.  She went off on you, but it really could have been any of us - she was a ticking time bomb the last few weeks she was here.

While we are walking down memory lane, do you remember running a test for some new dial in equipment for Radio Trainwreck, with you then girlfriend (now wife), back in 08 or 09?  There were only a couple of hundred members here then.  Anyway, I was the first caller for that test.  Art's Sunday night dry run reminded of that night.
