Happy Canadian Thanksgiving and Columbus Day to those in N. America, and Happy Monday to the rest of you!  Do you mind if Ol' Gerry has a cup of coffee with you?  I'll leave the business from other threads...ahem...at the door.

GREAT to see you here 'Ol Gerry!!  A fresh pot just finished brewing, help yourself anytime :D

But if you're usually nekkid, you really should visit more often. We have salve, tender meats, and lots of time on our hands. Maybe on the way home from the bar in the morning, for a nightcap?

I started working on my website today. Tonight I was going to nap but now just thinking I will work on the website until I pass out. The reason I bring any of this up is much coffee will be needed. Might have to main line some monster energy.

How nice to hear from you, Rose. The magic of Bella-Haven lives on, even in its death throes.

Tonight will be a tough one -- we're presenting the darker side of the Jacobs story. Sometimes the dark side sheds a lot of unwelcome light on things, and that's what tonight's show is all about.

RoseGirl

Spoonfuls of instant coffee right out of the jar....works every time.

I'm kinda swamped with work now, chat rooms are easy, i suggest you use IRC .
I dont usually make websites although i own almost 100 domains and only 3 have content on them.
I program C, C++, Python, SQL, Java.
I actually make programs that run, basic websites with chat are kinda easy these days.
Frankly I would still use a IRC client like on the UFO ship site, talk to Curtis or MV, I'm sure they can help you out.

ponyboysunset

Love sexy femmes. Preferably bisexual.

It's tropical hot here today.  My cats usually lay under the guava tree but now they've found the coolest place in the house.
I thought the people in the Estrogen thread might get a smile from this

Curtis has been designing a chat room for me....but he keeps delaying the finishing of it, so dunno. Thought I might do one myself for my web site. And a forum too.

The site page it goes to is

http://www.mysticstars.net/files/livestream.html

I want it to be a hyperlink on the Chat button and will also do up a button for forum, if and when I get one.

By the way, I went to school with a poet...a good friend of mine...who used to correspond with Bukowski and drink with him from time to time when he went down to visit in the US. Also, visited Tennessee Williams, before that nasty nasal drops bottle top got lodged in his throat. What a freak show that was, eh?

My friend's name is Steve....I remember one of his poems to this day from poetry class....titled 'Backing Into Heaven'. Very talented writer. Working poems and great short fiction...he was editor of a literary magazine I was managing editor of once, back in the day. I kind of lost track of him though.

This is the best Jewish cooking site I have ever found....and fun too. Just love Bubbe.

http://www.feedmebubbe.com/

Have to check it out! I used to work at a Jewish restaurant and got hooked on Kugel, Derma (Kishka), latkes and stuffed cabbages! A lot of Eastern European Jewish food and I had a friend who was from Israel and kept Kosher, so we would go to the Middle Eastern Jewish places in Queens. Very different types of food, but both delish.

RoseGirl

Latkes? That's a four point yum alert right there. Are you a sour cream or apple sauce girl?

The Bubbe site is great...and I love how she gives a 'Yiddish word of the day' at the end of each video. You just want to hug her!

Gotta be thankful for the tasty Canadians today... Otherwise we would be overrun with polar bears.

Polar bears? I saw a quirky little movie this weekend that has the strangest mention of polar bears I have ever seen in a movie. Great movie....best I have seen in a while. It's called 'Me, Earl and A Dying Girl'. Wonderful story....watch for those child actors to show up in future movies too, I bet.

We didn't get the benefit of a Canadian "Black Friday" shopping event to go along with Thanksgiving this weekend.  It's only 7 weeks away, however, until the U.S. holiday.  Are any of you looking forward to it, and have you participated in the mad rush sales on past Black Fridays?  What are you in the market for this year?

I will probably do some cross-border shopping when I'm down there to visit family next month, but the current exchange rate is a killer, so I'll only pick things up if they're a fantastic deal, I really need them, or I can't buy them here.  Shopping in Canada is not so bad, but there are a lot fewer places to go, and a lot fewer items and brands to choose from.

gabrielle

Open Lines...Happy Thanksgiving from Central Canada. :)  let me know if you need more coffee...I also have some timbits.
