Oh.   Dear WhiteCrow, I'm afraid that time has come, and gone, for me.

My dear Lady Starrmtn, Always remember some things have to be believed to be seen.......

Hey everyone. Today at the store was our first taste of winter. It was grey and drizzly and chilly. Welcome change. Starr I tried to do the weather for you this morning, Not a bad job but you do it so much better. I will stick to my witty repartee' and just do my normal running commentary. Great to see everyone here. Good videos and good conversation. A good way to end the afternoon

Oh Starr, yes naive,  like Elwood  P. Dowd.

Starr, Mrs and I would gladly welcome you, should you wish to visit us!

Elwood P. Dowd: Years ago my mother used to say to me, she'd say, "In this world, Elwood, you must be" - she always called me Elwood - "In this world, Elwood, you must be oh so smart or oh so pleasant." Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant. You may quote me.

I know Serenity, form follows thought.  But, as it turns out, I was terrible at relationships.  Both exes were alcoholics and verbally abusive.  Bad choices on my part.  I'm well paste my prime and it really is too late.  So, it's best to let that sleeping dog lay (lie?).

I read your weather report.  I find you did it better than I.  But, I'll keep on with weather warnings and watches as they come up.  In fact, about an hour or so ago, my area has been put under a weather advisory.  I'll go get it.

Just saying hello. 👯 It's gray gray gray here in the groovy NorthEast, but without the lovely snow.

That is one fine silo you have there, Mr. Crow.

Bonsoir. Things are crisp and clear here this evening.

Tonight, we're supposed to get a low of three.  Figure in the wind velocity of 15 MPH, that gives us a wind chill factor of -15F.

Hi Serenity.  I have been star gazing and reading a new book on astronomy.

Thats awesome! As I was putting Christmas things in the attic, I ran across some of my old Astronomy books. My Burnhams Celestial Handbook (both volumes) and My Webb Deep sky series along with some odds and ends. *sigh* brings back fond memories. I Recommend both books series if your serious about deep sky. Not so much if your a planetary viewer.  But they are some that I could (and have) peruse for hours on end.

Yours is so much better Starr. I just filled the gap in your stead.  I would much rather read yours than an old pilot trying to sound like he knows what he doing. Granted, I am still among the living (at least I wasn't in the paper this morning) but not because of my weather sense lol.

I still beg to differ Serenity.  That's just a copy/paste from the NOAA site.  Like, how hard can that be?  ;D
Were you flying last night?

This article really fascinated me.  Perhaps others will find it of interest.  :)

Yes very interesting .. My roots are mostly Irish... There is the term Black Irish, always thought it referred to Spanish genes, but maybe the Black Irish are really Black Sea Arabs
