Love the picture White Crow. I know I live in the deep south but I secretly hope for at least a dusting of snow this year. 
Back in '08 I had to go to our training center in December for my yearly S76 recurrent training. When I left home it was about 45 and misting. The closer I got the colder it got and the mist turned into rain then larger drops till I was about 30 miles out. Here is what greeted me on arrival.
Needless to say, training was postponed. It snowed all day lol

OMG WhiteCrow........that beautifully photographed scene reminds me of something Ansel Adams would do!!  Do you have professional training?  I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see you take pictures from that spot during the different seasons if possible.

Aww Serenity, you ARE a REAL special guy you know!  The pictures are beautiful, but made me sad.  Hope somebody made you a warm fire and a nice hot meal!!

If ever need a change of seasons thrill, we have it all where I live, on a beautiful teal blue crystal clear lake.
If ever up Wisconsin way, be sure to stop by. Lots of room, always something going on.
Soon as the lake freezes over,  ice fishing starts with ice skaters and snowmobiles racing about.
