We had some major problems with the internet so ATT came out and upgraded everything. I have been (when I can) working on getting everything back to where it is supposed to be. Might take a while. Learning curve with the new main router. Does the blog or radio page(s) work ok for you brig?

Yes dear friend, everything works except the schedule page.  I cleared caches and restarted computer, and still schedule page does not work, but all others do.  Don't hesitate to ask me to check again any time you want me to.

And about time.  Man rough night in the OSOM thread. Hoagland is certifiable.

Happy Saturday morning everyone, thanks for all the goodies and camaraderie  ... its always a pleasure to be part of Bella-Haven!

Art's show was great and fun last night.  I actually listened live.  It's hard to listen and be in live thread at the same time, so I choose just to listen ... BUT the times I stopped by, I noticed that the negativity and whining was at a minimum ... I doubted if it could be changed just by one night of a Bella blitz (from the night before) -- but yay ... it seemed to have done the trick .... at least for now!

Gravity Sucks, Now WTF is this I am reading about in OSOM ... Bellgab got RCH so upset that he was like a kid and shouting out to BellGab all put-down and mean remarks ... like he's going to outdo BellGab on that ???  LOL ... anyways, reading OSOM thread is pretty amusing right now ... I do wonder how long Richard has before his major meltdown?

EDIT:  RCH please wish Darth Sandra a happy birthday ..... I heard Barfly's call in and Richard is a snotty jerk to say he doesn't know her and he'd have to say Happy Birthday to so many folks if he says it to her ...

I'm going to grab a second cup of the delicious coffee offered in here and get back to reading OSOM ... as I need some additional LOL's this a.m.

I managed to be up too last night Mrs. C. I even managed to stay awake for the fun of the first half hour of the Hoagie show.  Of course, you know I am not a "group think" or "follow the leader" type of girl, so I enjoy the Rant posts, just as much as the "Praise" posts.  I don't post much in either thread because I am usually snoring by then, plus I still haven't mastered reading and listening at the same time, and I prefer to listen to all the shows than read and post.  I enjoyed the entire night last night as long as I managed to stay awake!!  To be honest, I think almost EVERY bellgabber enjoys open lines night, making comments on enjoying the callers, both the successful callers, and the major failures lol's.  Of course, I think the bellgabbers enjoy ranting about the guests too when they have complaints, as much as they enjoy complimenting the great guests.

You have to hear the beginning of the show to believe it.  I woke up for sure it was only a bad dream.

And don't forget, he told Barfly that if he told Sandra Happy Birthday, he would have millions of requests.

On any given night, 98% of the people want to hear Art do what he does best. 50% want Art to do what he did and in the same way he did it in 1995 (except I haven't heard anybody bitch about not being able to fax), 30 percent will be interested in the topic, and about half of them will disagree with the guest's take on the topic.  So there are probably only 10% that will be satisfied with any single show.  The rest will bitch about it.  (Redacted) has a tough job.  There really aren't that many interesting people to interview for MITD. I would like to have more open lines nights, but half the people hate open lines, so it is a no win.

Listening to your feed now,  good stuff... Thanks..

Just had an idea..   Maybe a goofy idea...
At work we have a conference call phone thingie... Staffer makes it work..

How about setting up a conference call,   at a set time each week,  for Bella-Haven regulars..

It could be a lot of fun to like hear Starr and brig and Maureen  talk .. And ms c and WR and Gabrielle talk ... Gravity and Serinity and Nancy talking.. etc  no set subjects, just everyone who is on conference call,  just start talking and get to know each other better ..

We're all wacky Art Bell Fans! And already have that in common ;)

I think it could be a lot of fun.. Discuss idea please and if any interest ..

That's what I get on my iPad with Safari as well.  Something, like a port, probably needs to be opened on your router.

If you are testing on the same network as you are streaming, then it is probably a port setting on your firewall/router. don't know if that is how you have it set up, just guessing really.

That reminds me... I read the first 3 and then didn't know he got back to writing them again.  Somebody told me that in the summer and I forgot all about it.I need to check them out.

It would be a fun event!  Before we go too far in our ideas; who has access to a 'conference line' ... I don't think any of us would be able to use the conference phone thingy from work (yes, we have them where I work also; I don't think my manager would be too keen on letting me have his number and code to use for this endeavor ).

I think Skype will let you do 10 people in one call.

LOL
good to know (for both reasons)   8)

I didn't realize that we could get 10 people all together in Skype at one time ... since my only concern has been answered ... I think its a great idea!

To be honest with you, I have never tried that link before. If it uses flash, it may never work on an iPad
