With children like these coming into the world, I think our species has a better than average chance of making it.

Thank you Ms Gabrielle, went to an Emerson, Lake, Palmer concert decades ago. And Alvin Lee and Ten Years opened for ELP.  Had both bands LPs.

WC...that is such a good version of this song.  Notice how the people in the audience are sitting?

I went to a concert in a venue with theater type seating a few months ago.  The music was so good I got up and started dancing in the aisle....(got in a bit of trouble).  How can anyone sit still when such awesome music is being played?  Rock on.

My goodness Ms Gabrielle,  you don't know proper concert decorum? Decades ago.. We didn't dance in aisles..to stoned, couldn't stand,  danced in our heads.

Well now, I think it's time to go to a real 'story-by-music' Halifax kitchen party...complete with drunken sailors, chair stomping and sea ballads.

Lawrd Tundering, pass the Skreetch, eh? It's time to fill yer boots.

Looked like they were having fun! They are reminiscent of the Rovers. Id like to see the whole thing. I found a bit from a documentary I saw on reviving the Irish language and it had one of my favorite songs in it. Here in Louisiana, or at least in South La, there is a movement among the older set to re-teach or revive French. It is kinda nice to go to a store or coffeeshop and hear the older parents or grandparents speaking French. But the kids don't really care to learn unless they live with the traditionalists, the "down the bayou" folks. Me, I'm lost. I know enough French to ask where the latrine is lol. I know more Gaelic than French. Sure glad English is universal lol.

G'Morning Everyone, fresh pot of coffee on the counter!  I'm listening to the episode of FutureTheater with Tim Swarts this morning with my first cup of coffee.  Sounded like an interesting topic the other day when I saw Nancy post it in the chat I think.  I just turned that on in the archive.

I don't think you should be jealous. We  each have our unique good and bad qualities.  For example, wr250 has the gift of bacon, you have the gift of generosity.

I had a little exchange of views with Brig about who was the kindest person on BellGab. I maintained it was still me, but she said, 'listen you Limey fuck, I'm the kindest bitch on BellGab; if you say different I'll bite your fucking ears off'. So, let's just say I was 'persuaded'.

How can I resist your siren song, madam? I am drawn like a helpless moth to your lambent flame. Well, that and the fact that you still haven't destroyed those pictures you took without my knowledge, so I have to do what I'm told!  ;)
