i think the baseball stuff was justified though, since cheating/corruption within a multi-million dollar industry was taking place. the integrity of MLB declined from that point onward. when you have billions of dollars being pumped into an industry and the players are taking enhancements in a league that has sworn to be free of that stuff, then people need to go to prison and the entire league needs to be shaken up and rebuilt from scratch. i don't even think they replaced the commissioner.

Live entertainment has definitely become an elitist thing now. My first concert ticket cost $10 and it was at a stadium.

i wasn't talking about concerts there, i meant a regular season game... but i hear you with the concert thing, they are usually over $100 now. if they are less than $30-40 then the merch and stuff inside is highly inflated. i used to buy a shirt at a concert, but now they are always XXL and cost $50-80 or $100+ for a long sleeve. i don't blame bands for doing that, i know they get gouged by the venue for 50% of all merch sales these days, plus they have to pay local taxes per item in each state/province. i linked to blabbermouth a couple months ago where some nu-metal band were making an issue out of this practice.
