Who the fuck is that?
Would you believe it was a lady who once looked like this?  Old age can be cruel but plastic surgery can be crueler.

Kim Novak, in better days.

The premise for the series is bullshit. If the South had successfully won the war, slavery would have likely ended in the 1880's or thereabouts anyway.  In the first world countries of the West, slavery had run its course.  The South may have been several decades behind the North in accepting the end of slavery but it would have ended.

At the height of slavery 1.5% of Americans owned slaves. The ultra wealthy elite establishment of the south.

And Haiti...

No, of course they wouldn't. You could write a novel, but good luck on getting that film green-lighted by any studio.
Shhh. I didn't mention that great example of freedom, innovation, standard of living, and enterprise on purpose because I didn't want to be "seth riched" by a certain crime organization who made lots of money from "helping" that country and people.

21st"oyster"Man,
did your wifu pierced your ass with her fingers today ?

Back in the 1950's LIFE magazine ran a serial article about  a world where the south had won the War of Northern Aggression. In that scenario the South had fought the Spanish American War and had since made Cuba a state. I think it was made into a book. I was about 8-10 years old at the time.
The winner writes the History and largely ignored is the South  was at odds with  the North over tariffs for  that the South was trading  agricultural products and the Federal Government wanted high tariffs for the goods the South was importing.  The  Charleston Harbor had  a Fort Sumter there to enforce the Tariffs on any shipping coming into the South's main port.
The trouble with the slavery thing was that the North was beginning to admit non slave states which caused a voting discrepancy  in congress that allowed the tariff question to become the breaking point and the South had no chance to contain the tariff problem.
Before the war the south was the richest region of the country  and today's poorest states were before the war the nation's richest.
Today in the South we still have to go through federal courts every time we need to adjust congress districts due to population increases.
You can still take back roads from Atlanta to  Charleston and see the chimneys of houses burned down by Sherman's march and the woodlands there are no trees older than 150 years.
I do not know how they teach that era up North but I once had a girlfriend from near Chicago and she used to castigate me for opening doors for her as some throwback to antebellum south men's dominance over women whereas it was more considered those of us southern men raised as gentlemen that we honored our ladies. I finally threw the bitch and her baggage out.

Up All Night

MGM is re-booting Death Wish with Bruce Willis, coming out this Fall. The trailer has AC/DC's "Back in Black" (but why not "Shoot to Thrill" instead??).

Instead of taking place in NY, this reboot has Paul Kersey living in contemporary Chicago.

Film critic Alan Zilberman called the clip “so nakedly fascist that alt-righters will have an erection before the trailer ends.”

Too bad the current Hollywood's degree of depravity well exceeds the talent, both in writing and acting.

Normalizing Bestiality is just another step toward their Ultimate Goal of normalizing pedophilia.

http://dailycaller.com/2017/08/04/vanderbilt-professor-says-math-education-is-sexist/
There was an editorial in the WSJ the other day on this. What is so interesting is the rest of the world, even primarily white countries, don't seem to find math racist/sexist and out perform our country on tests. Gee I wonder why when it seems all education has to be about anti-bullying, gender or sexual 'identity,' and racial hegemonic power structures than learning the skills. I dare someone to go to India or China (or anywhere) and peddle this crap and tell them their children need to be taught math via "intersectional theory" (whatever the heck that is) in a more nuanced way. You wonder why companies often to need to import workers on VISAs? Hint: it is not because foreign worker are experts in "feminist intersectional theory."

" Leyva proposes the adoption of feminist intersectionality theory in teaching mathematics via "intersectional theory.

“Current understanding of mathematics as a gendered space, however, can be broadened through intersectional analyses of gender and its interplay with other identities (e.g., race or ethnicity, class). Implications for future gender research, particularly the adoption of intersectionality theory, are raised to inform more nuanced analyses,” he wrote."
