You tried to make the case that everything, including paid-for software, includes spying and monitoring functions.  You posted an excerpt from an MS EULA as proof that MS "spys" and "steals" your personal information, even though the EULA says nothing of the sort.  From there, you jumped forward to claiming that EVERY bit of software in the world "spys" and "steals." 

I didn't find this particularly persuasive, so if your big long post was more of the same, I'd say "fuck it" was the right decision for you.

I use it at the Everett Library and like it a lot. Of course there aren't too many choices at the library, and I got mad at Firefox about something political.

I got Chrome from a 3rd party site that had loaded it up with a bunch of parasite programs that were a PITA to get rid of.

I googled "Chrome" instead of just going to Google.com.  IIRC, site I clicked was Googlechrome.com.  The bundled junk wasn't deeply nefarious; just search, tune-up and maintenance crap that popped-up in Chrome randomly until uninstalled.

You see, I've been using Google redacted (pay good money for that marketing research) to track Noory affiancondos' (sp) [don't trust spell check!] and it has indeed led to undisputabley good horse pr0n!  So ipso facto, you see ergo swum...  'nother thang...
