I think god is trying to get us to jack off to lesbian porn rather than sucking each other's dicks.  It's the only explanation that makes sense.
I dont speak for God but I certainly would rather the lesbian porn. But to each his own. Keep It safe n dont ask me to fund any disease you might catch. Just be aware according to our government study those lesbos arent reality. 25% more obesity than normal chicks. Likely not material for shall we say "going blind", or maybe so actually? And if I know Amerrrca that means a lot of less fat people if only they were- since the whole population of BLTs is maybe 7% (CDC.) Interestingly, though it may be coming, why they don't study obesity in rednecks or just men even? Weird choice of study really.

I don't know. Many have been crying about our infrastructure and bridges being in disrepair (recall that bridge in Minnesota falling not too long ago?) It could be one bigger bridge could be worth more than studying some "vagina licking fatties" as you so derisively call them? Cheney, even without his government platinum health plan, I reckon would be able to pay for his heart work fairly easily. Probably even cheaper if he went to one of those special clinics in India. Not sure how much medicine has gained from his work. Neither do I like liver transplants going to rich alkies who, amazingly, get at the top of the list but some Vet gets put on a "secret waiting list." (For that matter, or some wino doesn't even get on the list.) And, I don't know, how much that contributes to science. What is "tougher" medically than a "Dallas" star alkie getting a liver or some wino getting a liver or some Vet who got his liver damaged getting a liver? I'd rather spend limited funds on non-choice made disease though. Enough with HIV/AIDS. We know how to cure it (over time.) Make better/safer choices and screen blood supplies. Focus funds on various blood cancers, childhood diseases, genetic based stuff, pollution caused stuff, cancers, etc. Or to even things like Ebola.

I really hate discussing things with you. You are all over the board. This was about HIV being god's retribution. I think the only thing you didn't bring into the mix was white water. It wasn't about overweight lesbians. It wasn't about bath houses. It was about god's plan.

My comment on bridges was about the shenanigans in Alaska, not infrastructure.

Yeah we all understand making healthier choices. Your beating the drum is just bothersome and again off target.

When I read your posts, I can truly understand why some chicks "choose" to be lesbians.  That's your party line, isn't it?  That it's a choice?  That's why.

Priests who fuck little boys up the ass don't get AIDS or any other STD, nor do they get punished by the Church.  Isn't that a hoot?  God's holy wrath is only for "vanilla" fags, not for child rapists who commit that crime inside the walls of god's fuckin house.

Heh, I would love to hear Mr. Robertson's cogent, thoughtful explanation for this.

Kelt

I have seen the real lesbians.

They're nothing like the lesbians I was promised by the numerous porn movies I've seen.

I was promised tight-bodied, full-lipped, just foolin' around by way of experimentation until a beefstick gets jammed in my face pretendy lesbians.

The real ones aren't like that.

The real ones are solidly built, squat, make-up-free, stubbly, hairy, angry, man-hating, heeli-monsters, who'd bite off a little fireman just for the hell of it.  They're like Tolkein Dwarves, but with fuller beards and less of a sense of humour.  They wear thick, grey, sensible clothes, and call themselves wimmin and wimminfolk, and they call men rapists and rapistfolk.

But at least the lesbian is easily recognised and avoided.  They MUST be avoided.

Then you get the feminists.

They look normal, but if anything they're more dangerous than the wimminfolks.

You innocently offer to buy them a drink, or to take them for some Chinese food, and they start screaming I AM NOT A PROSTITUTE, YOU RAPERIST!  Next thing you know you're being chased along a London street by a mob from the Benny Hill Show.

Anyway... find out if YOU support rape.  Answer... yes, you do.

Holy fuck, Kelt is actually Phil Robertson!

Hey Kelt/Phil, guess what?  I believe in god now.  Because only a vastly superior evolved being could ever do what he did with you: design the perfect punchable face.  I see you as the kind of guy who spends an entire airplane ride staring at the back of the seat in front of you, muttering about fags and Muslims while rubbing your "seat belt buckle."  Do you ever shower, by the way?

Sorry for muddy waters. Though, thinking again, isn't everything connected to your lot? How can we ignore in our healthcare system the obesity predilection of lesbians anymore than the awful school lunches (like catsup considered a vegetable and satisfy that requirement?) I would think, as a thinking man and one involved, apparently, in some good works to help people out you would recognize that a more, shall-we-say, grander plan, be a better system? An Occams Razor approach? Maybe? We have identified the behaviors. We know the solutions. To, at least VD, sorry, STDs. Condoms, testing, abstinence, etc. Why waste precious resources on diseases that are manifestly in their vector preventable?
ps: bridges need repairing. Even to "nowhere." Think of the jobs, jobs, jobs. (and votes)

I don't know about that. Certainly the government (under Obama) the CDC has said the incidence of homosexuals is about 7 percent of our current population (not accounting for illegals coming across.) But, given that, it is odd, the focus on them with so much Executive Orders etc. Unless, of course, the CDC and NIH studies aren't true and that incidence of HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, and various other diseases are not also more prevalent in that small (almost statistically insignificant community) worrying. (Significant but not considering the economy, the wars, etc.) Choice, I don't buy. But I don't know. Maybe so. Probably like with anything some of both nature/nuture. As they say I don't think you "decide" what your bag is. That doesn't mean, however, it is good. The same rational, though I'm not saying it so, would also say some killer is "just born that way". Or some pedo freak is. If so, though, even if the aberrations are born in or caused might society (at least as it is now) say: "who cares if you are born that way." Criminal sanctions still apply. If not let voters decide? Over time they will change, if you are correct. Oddly, though, voters don't decide (so much for progressive and democratic ideals) but some judge or Executive Action by the President ignoring Congress. Weird how that "democratic", "progressive" stuff works!

Have you stopped beating your wife? So absurd. But I reckon public school. But your point is interesting. Same methods. Many times in past mental health allegations has been used, sometimes effectively.  Even herei n the USA. Used "better" in  other countries. But still keep at it, when facts (or even basic argument) fail! Best, maybe is this but sure the others have done it. Funny excuses though with tragic circumstances.

And you wonder why I can be ascerbic.
News flash... better cover your ears. People fuck. People are biologically predisposed to fuck. Obviously morality is a very poor rationality for changing behavior... A vector approach? You mean sex education and condoms and (snickering) abstinence? Well thanks to your lot, sex education is something that shouldn't be taught in schools and perish the thought of giving a student a condom... why we would be telling the student to become a slut. And abstinence... you have to be joking, or so reprehensible no one will fuck you. Yeah wouldn't it be nice if people only fucked in houses with white picket fences, in quiet bedrooms, inbetween freshly cleaned sheets? STD's are just that, a disease, in the same way menningitis is a disease, the same way tetanus is a disease, the same way influenza is a disease. It is just that STD's are a dirty disease... because god said so.

I'm sorry politics is your baseline. Diseases don't give a shit what flavor is in office.

Aside from the personal attacks, which are the defensive tactics of one without facts on their side, you say that the CDC or NIH is wrong? That HIV/AIDS just "spreads"? Randomly? Behavior has no place in this mysterious spread of the disease? Are you crazy? Or just have a position (based on politics?) Even the government (now lead by Obama so can't be wrong) says that behaviors spread the disease. To deny that is denying science (remember, science is God now.) So we know how it spreads. We know the behaviors that cause it. Now change that behavior (by education, condoms, stable relationships, testing, screening blood supplies, decriminalizing prostitution and test them, etc.) It is weird how you resort so easily to petty name-calling and personal attacks when the SCIENCE is clear. I don't recall ever saying no sex education or no condoms or abstinence only forever but making rational decisions and avoiding risky behavior (and recognizing the level of risk in your decisions.) But, again, your weird personal attacks in your mind seems to project that I did. Odd. With limited funds why not direct said funds to actual problems and diseases that do spread more easily? Or are more wide spread? Or that cannot be easily avoided?

You have my apologies for the "reprehensible no one will statement..." it was crude.

All diseases are in some fashion behavior related. If everyone always washed their hands after every contact colds and many upper repiritory diseases would vanish. If people stayed in isolation, many other diseases would also disappear. But we don't. HIV in the US has been primarily in the male homosexual community. But that isn't the case in Europe and Africa. Like it or not homosexual behavior is not likely to go away. Sexual behaviors can be modified but it isn't as easy as choosing to wear tennis shoes instead of loafers. And to make it about a simple moral choice is (sorry for the insult) naive.

i once had a shrink diagnose me with ocd for excessive handwashing. i said "but it is required by law" and the shrink didnt care. i was a cook at the time.
i also said something along the lines of "next time you are in ill be sure to not wash my hands in between handling the raw chicken, and making you a blt" .

The medical profession is mostly full time golfers who occasionally dispense meds based on cookie cutter diagnoses performed between rounds of golf during the 2 hours a day they wear a white coat and pretend to be interested in the poor fucks who think they're getting great treatment because they're paying thousands in medical insurance to what is essentially a corporation rather than a health care system.

We spend more on medical care than any other country. We rank 38 for actual care.

So, that's quite good.

Utter utter bollox. Do you think Ninewells in Dundee and other med schools teach golf? An average day in the life of an SHO; get up, go to hospital, do a twelve hour shift and if he or she is lucky, might grab half a sandwich and a cold cup of tea in that twelve hours. Repeat for the next five to twelve days, before getting four days off-but be on call in case he or she is needed when someone can't cover.

This is after 5-6 years med school; three or four years clerkships in various hospitals doing the same shifts as he or she is doing now, four years after leaving med school. After ten years, they might be a Snr Reg, after fifteen they might be Consultant. Then they might get a round of golf in.

Phil Robinson is an uneducated twat. No debate.

Full stop.

Make a thread about it in the politics section and discuss that facet of this subject there, please.

Thats why there is a politics subsection on this site, to keep all the politics in one place, but you already knew that.

EDIT: To be fair. This thread really should have been created in the politics subsection.
Maybe even moved there, Mods call.

Uh, no... the only way to curtail AIDS is to educate people NOT to use condoms.... because they're sinful... and pray to god for His mercy.

It's the most scientific and rational solution.
