Mae Brussell should really have her own thread on here. One of the first "conspiracy" types I listened too. And an interesting perspective about how the peaceful, "hippie" revolution got co-opted and promise of JFK and the ex-NAZI influence and police state mentality was taking over etc. I don't know if the org still exists but someone (or WWI maybe still exists) has archived, as you mentioned:

Some of here theories are still popular with newer authors and radio personalities- though her synthesis from Manson to, say, the attempted assassination of Reagen was what was cool (I forget if that was one but it could be- if I recall her tapes and radio broadcasts.) I'm not saying I believe her stuff. But she was like a less manic Quayle, Alex, Marrs etc (and less "Christian" or "end times" and "militant" basis) and before internet--- so being conspiracy minded took more doing (getting many books, newspapers, cutting articles, watching/listening to news, making photocopies, making tapes, and distributing them and making radio with your patchwork of the "connected dots.")

Good luck with that. I agree, she was amazing. Again, not that I buy her politics or all her theories at all (or even any of the time) but they were well-researched and documented and thorough in the presentation- and the effort alone is impressive. Obviously you know the main archives that I have found online. Unfortunately, I have no personal tapes to submit. I would imagine people do. Sometimes one finds random things at estate sales and the like. But things like cassette tapes or R2R almost nobody seems to advertize on CL etc. Good hunting and keep us upraised of success or if you have your own website etc with the MB material for sale or download or whatever. And maybe start a new thread for her here once you have more info or wish to go public.

Holy shit! Riveting! Just read the whole thing.

I have never been a big fan of DK. I watched these   "What's my line " shows years ago. and  rewatching them now. But I will say one thing, she was really sharp on that panel. a regular Sherlock Holmes, just gifted.

For drama, there's also the west coast program 'The Whistler' as well as 'Mysterious Traveller'
For comedy 'Duffy's Tavern' is rather risque for the 1940s.

"Have Gun Will Travel" (hello Paladin) is also rather progressive.
