We didn't steal the land from the Mexicans and Natives, we fought wars and won them.
To the victors go the spoils.
Do you want every injustice ever done to paid for by all the future generations?
Or maybe it's just the injustice that whites have done you feel guilty about?

Never mind that not one person alive today in the US stole Indian land or had slaves or has been a slave.  Human Nature has not changed, but attitudes and perspectives have changed over the centuries.  The whole Western world is very different from those periods.  It's been well over 100 years since we fought a war to end slavery.

The funny (read: sad) part is, if and when the Left finally manages to destroy our nation and replace it with their version of North Korea, the country will still be on former Indian land, there will still have been African slaves here.  Everything they rail about in our past and condemn us for will still have happened - and will still be there in the past of whatever they end up with.

Nevermind that every attempt to right historical wrongs against slave families and Native tribes has been met with virulent opposition by conservatives such as youself.  Treaties ignored and violated, simple affirmative action programs used as wedges between blacks and low-information white voters.  No, you're right, P*B, these "inner city" types and Washington Redskins ought to keep their ingrate mouths shut!  They're lucky we're so "tolerant" now!

North Korea?  Still?  You need to go find that tranny with the green hair and "magic wand" and just get some already!

So what's the plan to right these wrongs against blacks and Indians?
Please enlighten us with a few examples.

Well, for starters as a society:

http://www.acf.hhs.gov/sites/default/files/ana/native_american_programs_act.pdf

and: www.bia.gov

Note in the Eastern Region of BIA's service grid the Mashantucket Pequots and Mohegan tribes, who are now self financing due to gaming rights on their tribal territory.  Both tribes are also into resort/entertainment and conventioneering.  They are acquiring land (buying, not staking) and incorporating it into their reservations - a hot button legal issue right now.

Plus, of course, the Civil Rights Act, the Voting Rights Act, and Affirmative Action.

In the private sector, the NAACP, firstnations.org, the ACLU, labor unions, and the President's recently announced "My Brother's Keeper" initiative.

Still, though, not nearly enough.  And all of it challenged by conservatives every step of the way. Most recently:

Man, why do these conversations about 'Gay Rights' always devolve into heated discussions about Native Americans?

It's so unlike your other comments.

... I find that pesky 15th amendment specifically outlawing discrimination based on race, color, or previous condition of servitude.  Really a stretch to extend that to lgbt?

So we can deduce that, not only are you a vomitous douchebag who hates the poor, black people and gays, but that you hate women, too.  Excellent...

Putin is with Art? Good, it'll all be over in another 6 weeks. There'll be nothing to see then. ;D

Whereas Obama presumably will run and run as long as he's despised?  ;D

In fact I do. Do you ever listen to "On Point" with Tom Ashbrook?  It's on NPR daily and today featured David Ignatius from the Washington Post   and Kori Schake from the Hoover Institution  at Stanford (she was foreign affairs specialist for McCain/Palin '08 and worked in the W. admin.) . I ask because if you listened you would have heard these two disparate personalities agree that Putin has way overplayed his hand and is in danger of presenting himself as weak to the world.
What is Putin's endgame?  War with the West?  Blackmailing economic gains from Europe in exchange for Crimea?
Obama has continued to publicly deride and call out Putin's incompetent and aggressive behavior; there is no way for Putin to save face.   On the diplomatic front, John Kerry is in Ukraine strongly suggesting an equal protection law that would guarantee the civil rights of Russian speaking Ukrainians in the East to blunt Putin's feeble excuse for incursion.
As to Europe?  Kori Schake pointed out that Europe, since the Georgian crisis, has done an efficient job of reducing its need of Russian Nat. Gas.  Further, as winter comes to an end, the demand has dropped and has cut off Putin's overplayed hand against the West.
Putin is a failure and this latest chest beating will backfire bad.
But, of course, still not getting how foreign policy really works, your conservative view is extremely limited to grearious shows of strength. Failure.

This goes to proving my point about you conservatives.
You are all a bunch of bad-ass wannabes who express your frustration with your falling position in the world with gaudy, opulent, and, yes, careless displays of flash and bragadoccio.
You get turned on by displays of aggression, which appeals to your acquisitive natureand sense of self importance.
You show Putin on an oversize tricycle, no helmet, and I'll be damned if a little chest isn't coming through, in contrast to the President, pedaling along on his bike, helmet and all.
Putin is reckless and shows no foresight; Obama is pragmatic and careful.
End result? Victory Obama.
