I am a bit sickened by his behavior.
Every time he murders a wild animal, fox, crows, owls, raccoons, he just doesn't tread them with respect, but instead like a total retard, calling them filthy words and hanging them on their tails to rot and get eaten by flies and maggots.
Why?
Cause they snatched one his his precious, not rings, but ducks, but it looks a bit the same, the guy behaves like GOLLUM.
Considering that is is him who is intruding into that wildlife spot, and going to kill the ducks anyway himself at the end of the year, raising them basically for free, now his 700 ducks are going to shit again all over this natural habitat of wild animals.
Mat is basically behaving like a descendant of CAIN, destroying a piece of the earth with no regrets, the very reason god wiped out most of mankind with the flood.
By killing the fox and the owls, he probably wiped out an entire family, cause baby-foxes and baby-owls are starving in their nests when Mat kills the parents. And then he does a joyful dance over it and calls the animals "scum"...

That fox really got into Mat's head. He's been trying to kill that thing for a month and he's been frustrated and probably not thinking clearly. I understand why he had to kill it, but hanging the corpse in the tree to be devoured by maggots as a "warning to others" certainly isn't Mats best moment. It has devolved into the lord of the ~~flies~~ ducks.
He should have just buried it.

Mounties caught Mat raping a fox carcass!

This might not be the end, but the f*ck adventure might take a short brake,
at least until Mat is being released from jail again to continue on his quest to maim and abuse animals.

Bad news!
Mat got released again and already shot a seagul today.
Good news: one duck was terminated by a raven. Unfortunately Mat is out to slaughter ravens now to get satisfaction.
